After a long day of driving I was heartily and warmly welcomed and given a beautiful room called the Fergus suite. Lovely furniture and decor and a sofa and reading chair and private bath and tv. Before I could even get settled my host brought me a lovely tray of tea and cookies! I was given great directions to both... More

Behind a modest-looking suburban exterior, we found an extremely well-appointed B&B. Our room was huge, very comfortable, very pretty, with a balcony & views of big evergreen trees. Host & hostess so helpful, recommending several options for dinner and (most important to us) pointing us to a great coffee shop, NovelTea, as well as to Victoria Park, with lovely walks... More

Ann and Larry were wonderful hosts. Interesting conversations and great hospitality. The accommodations were very nice and clean. Ann has a great outgoing personality that is very welcoming, and she seeks to engage you and help you. Larry is more reserved, but don't let that keep you from engaging him in conversation if he is receptive. He is well traveled... More

The first stop on our tour of Nova Scotia was in Truro at this lovely (and immaculate) B & B. Ann and Larry made us feel immediately at home. Accommodations were wonderful and, as we told Ann, they serve the best breakfast compared to all of our stops on our two-week tour. We like it so much that returned for... More

We showed up unannounced and were lucky to get the last room in this B&B that combines old-world charm with new world comfort. We were tired from a long drive and enjoyed sitting in the cozy living room for a few hours reading and relaxing over a pot of tea. The bedroom was nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable.... Was the best B&B, beds so comfortable and outside of the city with such a warm country feel, Ann and Larry were so very helpful, cant brag enough about them both. They also helped us with choices and arrangements to stay for the rest of our trip, We highly recommend we stayed 5 nights and couldn't of been more pleased... More

We did a 10-day trip to Halifax, South Shore, Bay Of Fundy and Cape Breton, and Truro was on the route. What a find! Lovely hosts, genuinely friendly even though we rolled in late! It was the best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B. Eggs, bacon, tomato, and as someone said before, homemade goodies - even stewed rhubarb... More

We did a one-week trip to Halifax and Cape Breton, and needed to fly home the next morning. We did not want the anticlimactic feeling of staying in a generic airport hotel, so we figured Truro was doable. What a find! It was the best breakfast of the whole trip. She gave us a choice of various hot meals or... More

Stayed one night before our flight home from Halifax airport and it was an excellent choice. Ann & Larry made us feel so welcome, their house is beautiful and well appointed, and they were extremely accommodating as we had to sort out the contents of our cases. They let us do this downstairs to save lugging everything upstairs which was... More

Thank you Larry and Anne for a wonderful visit. Your home was incredible. You made us feel so welcome. It was a welcomed break in the middle of our pan-Nova Scotia travels. We are already excited about our next visit. We stayed in the master suite, which was a real treat. Your gardens are beautiful and the views into woods... More
