I travel for business and this is the only B&B I stay at. I heard about the Guest Lovitt from other business colleagues. Very clean with a different, great breakfast every day. Twyla and Bruce have taken well care of the large beautiful period home. They will take equally well care of you.

Your hostess, Twyla Rogers, makes you feel right at home, right from the minute you arrive to the time of your departure. You feel more like a visiting friend or family member than a paying guest. Twyla is a very enthusiastic and accommodating hostess. Her made to order breakfasts are hearty and delicious, I especially liked the Double Smoked Bacon.... More

This was my second time staying at the Guest Lovitt House in Yarmouth and loved every minute of it again. The house is an old historic house that has been beautifully restored to look like it did back around the 1900s. Twyla is a wonderful host, offering wine after our days of touring. Her breakfasts each morning were delicious and... More

We arrived in Yarmouth, day before Thanksgiving without a reservation. Not a good idea. After calling around we reached Twyla Rogers at the Guest Lovitt House. Our traveling companions love B&B's. Me, not so much, until we stayed here. Twyla went out of her way to open rooms for us. She gave us tour directions, dinning suggestions and accommodations that... More

We were upgraded at no charge. Twyla couldn't have been more friendly. the breakfast was made to order with eggs, sausage or bacon and breads. A yogurt dish with fresh fruit kicked off the meal. Definitely an enjoyable experience and worth every penny.

This property has to be one of the finest Yarmouth, Nova Scotia has to offer! My sister and brother-in-law stayed there in July, 2014, and every amenity described by the proprietor exceeded their expectations. The rooms were exquisitely furnished and the morning breakfast a culinary delight. The warm welcome and daily attention to my family members made this truly feel... More

We arrived in Yarmouth having not booked a place - hotels were full then we found this lovely guest house just googling on my smartphone. We were not disappointed! Beautiful grounds, great hospitality and beautiful room. (Lucky for us there was one room left). Breakfast was delish! Twyla is a lovely host. We will def stay here again if we... More

We stayed one night here, with my wife and teenage son, on our way back home via the Novastar ferry. it's on a side road, quite close to the ferry. There's unfortunately not much to Yarmouth itself, but it does have a collection of lovely period houses, a number of them B&Bs like the Guest Lovitt House. We had an... More

If it were possible to write "five plus" - this would be it. Guest Lovitt is a phenomenal place to stay. Turn in any direction, in this house, and see beauty. Our room was perfect; location of the house in Yarmouth is ideal -- central to everything. Twyla is a remarkable human being -- friendly, personable, and at the same... More
