We spent four nights at this resort in the cottage Happy Days Oct. 14-18th. The cottage itself was clean, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed and spacious enough for the two of us and the dog. My only negative comment would be that during their busy season there would be no privacy at all because the cottages are so close... More

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Your stay with us coincided with shutdown week. The resort is not very busy that week as we are preparing to close for the winter. You are correct to assume that in the summer time , we are a very busy family resort but surprisingly, it is not uncomfortably noisy. Many of the children... More

Our family has stayed in many of the cottages, over the last 25 years. Overall we have always had a memorable, "must return" holiday........unfortunately, I suppose all good things must come to an end. Customer service has indeed declined, cleanliness and provisions within the cottage have seen their time (several times over). We stayed in the North House, the largest... More

My family and I stayed there this past long weekend and were extremely disappointed with the campground. The spot we were given had no road access, was right next to the rec hall and was in the middle of four other sites. There were very few trees and absolutely no privacy- it felt more like a parking lot than any... More

We just stayed here over the summer for one week and had a great time. The cottages are clean and updated and well stocked. We really didn't need to bring anything other than food. There was lots is scheduled activities every weekday for the kids. Our cottages were private, but the others were back from the water and had views... More

We appreciate your comment and agree with you that new full size BBQ's would be appreciated by most of our guests. New BBQ's are in the plans for the coming year. More

Was there a few times over the years as a single man and outdoor enthusiast and it's a great little spot along the south shore of Baptiste Lake. Nice campground, cabins and a great restaurant. Friendly people all having a good relaxing time. Swimming, fishing and cool breezes coming off of the lake. Can't wait to take my wife there... More

I discovered this little gem on the internet, while searching for accommodations in the Bancroft area. We stayed in the Maple Haven cabin (they all have names) and had a superb experience. There were four of us all together and although it was cozy, there is a spacious screened-in porch (where we spent a lot of time) and an open... More

I've been here for 8 years now my whole family and I attend every July and its the most amazing relaxing fun place to be. The staff are always there to help and are always happy to help. My family and I are never bored and along the way you make friends with everyone that is there. They also have... More

We have returned with family 8 years in a row for the same week. Built originally in the 30's the quaint cottages have been renovated and well maintained. The lakefront has a very good sandy beach for kids. The lake has excellent fishing in clean water. Beautiful lake with few weeds and tall hills making an attractive shorline. Most cottages... More

We stayed in Dunworryn which was very clean & modern with what looked like a new eat in Ikea kitchen & Ikea furniture. It had a lovely screened sun porch with table & chairs, also a porch outside with Cape Cod chairs. The beach has golden sand & the lake has clear shallow water, great for children, also a well... Thank you for noticing the new kitchen. The entire cottage was renovated in 2011 from a two bedroom to a three bedroom cottage including almost all new furniture throughout. We are pleased to say that cell phone service and WIFI has dramatically improved since your stay with us. High speed internet was made available in our area just this past... More

I just spent a great weekend at Birch Cliff Lodge with a motorcycle sport-touring group, and I would highly recommend this spot for similar group events, a family vacation or a weekend getaway. Not only were the lodge and grounds superbly maintained, but Birch Cliff proved to be an ideal base from which to explore beautiful North Hastings, Renfrew and... More
