This hotel, which was once the jewel of Bracebridge has recently changed hand. The previous owners had closed dining room for breakfast but had provided an extensive continental breakfast in the Teletheatre area. The current situation is that the pool and hot tub are closed, and empty, and the dining room has been closed. The breakfast area is now in... More

I stayed here on a road trip. I could see that this place was a very nice place and location was good.Love the riverside view and cruising. Friendly staff, clean and comfort rooms. Good for single person not couples.

My wife and I stayed here on a road trip. I could see that this place was a very nice place at one time. It is in dyer need of attention to bring it back to what it once was! Carpets were very dirty( stained) very dark by docks du to no lights being on. Stairs to dock needs hand... More

The location of this hotel is truly enviable and the restaurant is okay. However that's where all the compliments stop. The entire facility needs refurbishing...a total overhaul. The price to stay here is outrageous since this place is pathetic in many ways. I believe they were looking to off load this place to some one with a little money and... More

Great location, but the Inn is sadly in need of refreshing. Carpets, first, then furnishings. Everything is dated. Breakfast was a basic continental, which is never thrilling, but dinner in the Riverside Restaurant was very good and exceeded expectation so clearly, they do know what guests want, just don't have the money to do the reno! Sorry, but if you... More

This hotel absolutely is due for a renovation! Although the beds were reasonably comfortable, the surroundings were shabby and very tired looking. Additionally there is no elevator. The bathroom was merely adequate. The hotel is not at all memorable, and at $149. A night for our stay, we can certainly get much better, more luxurious surroundings for that price even... More

As far as local hotels go, this one seems decent but it's in bad need of renovation. Room was clean. Toilet didn't flush properly, mattress was old and hard. Breakfast was terrible (if you can call it that) served in a large room with literally 4 tables, total mess everywhere and all you got was a toaster, crappy coffee and... More

Terrible stay. Non smoking section smelled like smoke, room was extremely dated. Carpets and beds stained. Filled tub to give my children a bath, pulled plug and drain was completely plugged. Disgusting! Packed up and left!

Stayed two nights. Entering the lobby was fine and the people at desk were good, but as soon as i head for my room i had to open a double door that led to a hall to all the rooms. It was carpeted and stains everywhere on it, and a weird smell. The room had a small odour too Everything... More

We booked the Santa's Village package, and were very excited to be going to what seemed to be a family friendly hotel. Told the kids they would get to go bowling and swimming. However our experience was less then expected. The hallways strongly smell of cigarette smoke, the hotel is run down and while neat but not clean! The sink... More
