We recently spent a weekend in Brockville & chose the Victoria Inn. It's in a delightful historic building with lots of charm. Location-wise, it simply couldn't be better. We walked to the Farmers's Market, the waterfront (for our touristy cruise of the St. Lawrence), all along King Street to gawk at the beautiful properties and then to Fulford House for... More

I do a lot of traveling for work, and have stayed in many different hotels all over North America, and a couple of B&Bs. The B&B experience is always unique, and I am happy the Victoria Inn was no exception. Myself and my coworker arrived at about 1am, we were greeted by a friendly note and our rooms were all... More

Found it a little lacking for its high rating: - no key to the room door (had to keep things locked in the car parked on the street) - room was a bit dark and had a packet of old popcorn in a dusty drawer - steps need a firmer railing - better breakfast wouldn't be amiss . . .... More

I recently had the experience of stay at the Victoria inn B&B and let me say it was just that, an experience. We decided that we wanted to stay somewhere different than the chain hotels and after reading all the great reviews on this site decided that we would give it a try. I have to say our experience was... More

Dear wiggle263 I am sorry you had a bad experience stay with me as I was home with 2 sick girls up all night . I didn't charge you for the evening. My inn doesn't serve breakfast it is Continental as stated on my website. I had Lights sensor lights installed so on one can turn them off. Taxi? Executive... More

For anyone who wants to a home away from home this winter, look no further than this gorgeous century old Inn. The only boutique hotel in town, the Victoria is also the ONLY hotel in downtown. The Inn’s painted shingles and turrets would look at home in historic parts of Boston. Truly a grande little hotel. I first thought the... More

Enroute back to work north of Ottawa, my business collegue andI found ourselves in Brockville and in search of a place to stay overnight. Foresaking the usual chain hotels/motels, we contacted the Victoria Inn. On only 15 minutes notice, Susan two rooms readied for our arrival. Susan was very friendly and accommodating. For a couple of haggard military officers, a... More

The location of this elegant old home is ideal for a walking tour of the waterfront and the historic centre of Brockville. Susan, the owner and manager, ensured that we had everything we needed during an impromptu stay in the town and her attention was relaxed and comprehensive. I was in the Sir William (someone) suite on the top floor... More

My fiance and I stayed overnight during a trip to Brockville for the 1000 Islands boat tour. Susan takes really great care of this beautiful Victorian home! We stayed in the William Buell suite on the top floor and it was wonderful. There was a nice selection of fruit, eggs, cereal, yogurt and more for breakfast the next morning. We... More

To date this is the first review that we have written for any of the places we have stayed at, but were so happy with the accomidations and service that it would be a disservice not to reccomend this Inn to fellow travellers. For the record, my family and I (wife and newborn child) had booked a cottage rental at... More

I found myself stranded by holiday traffic and accidents on the way to Ottawa and decided to spend the night in Brockville. What a good decision! Luckily Susan had a beautiful room available and I had a wonderful sleep. The next morning I took the dog for a two hour walk along Brockville's beautiful waterfront and enjoyed the farmer's market.... More
