My friend and myself were looking for a nice relaxing day and night away form our usual busy lives. We picked the Village of blue Mountain as it's not too far from home and we wanted to visit the Spa Scandinave. My friend has some experience with the area so suggested the Weider Lodge. I booked us into a 2... More

The location is unbeatable. The room size compact but very functional with 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, plus a small terrace with a roof. But like many condo vacation rentals, the minimum in functionality and fixtures, so isn't long before it feels dated. But no major complaints; beds were comfortable (bedding a little tired but okay), minimal room in the... More

Dear Bearswife, You can’t dispute that, the location is ideal, right at the base of the ski hill, the Village right outside your door and so much in the way of activities, scenery, dining and retail to explore. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with a gas fireplace to warm you up on a chilly evening; the kitchens are fully... More

My wife and I visited the resort over the Thanksgiving long weekend. We stayed here several times in the past for family vacations with our girls and decided to visit as empty nesters. The Weider Lodge is a comfortable and well appointed hotel with nice rooms and amenities and a fairly central location to the village. We chose early October... More

Dear DJL57, The fall colors were outstanding this year and what a beautiful spot to take in the scenery, up on top of the ski hill, with an abundance of trails to navigate. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your suite at the Weider Lodge and found the location convenient to access the Village. We are sorry to hear... More

Went away for a girls getaway weekend and it did not disappoint. The room was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom suite that overlooked the Pool area. The room had fully equipped kitchen and fireplace. Both bedrooms have their own washrooms which is a bonus. Outside next to the pool is a huge hot tub that is open till... More

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite in Weider Lodge. The room was # 233 which was a corner room with a large balcony. Here's what I liked first: 1- a working fireplace! 2- two tvs (one in the 'master' bedroom and one in the living room) 3- full kitchen with utensils/pans/pots/dish-washing machine/kitchen towels (paper and cloth)/microwave/garbage bin/recycling bin/complimentary dish washing... We had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. It can be expensive to eat at the resort so having the kitchen for breakfast and lunch (a nice break from skiing) saves money and is a good time to reconnect with family on different slopes). Use the services at the base of the hill to check in your ski' sand... More

We are very flattered to be compared... More

I traveled with my 2 teenaged girls (ages 13 & 17) on a 4 day "girls' getaway". We decided on Blue Mountain after reading a travel review in our local newspaper. The review advertised the activities available on the resort (Mountain Coaster, Zipline, High Ropes Course) and spoke highly of the experience. I had never been to Blue Mountain before,... More

We stayed at Weider Lodge from July 20th-23rd, in a one-bedroom village suite. We were 2 adults and one child, who had the pull-out sofa in the living room. We had a 1 bedroom suite overlooking the village. Absolutely awesome! Nice to be able to make our own simple breakfast and keep our drinks cold. Fully equipped kitchen with rustic feel. Highly recommended for fun times for adults and kids alike. Love the mini-golf!
