My boyfriend and I stayed at Pow Wow point lodge during labour day weekend, we had purchased a Wag jag deal. We had a great stay for two days and enjoyed how relaxing it was. The lodge itself was so quiet and relaxing, it was wonderful. You could really feel the history, and I loved how close it was to... More

Just spent four days at Pow Wow Point Lodge and had a great holiday. The setting is beautiful and the resort was spotless . The facilities are great , with water skiing , tubing , canoes , kayaks and peddle boats all on offer to residents . The food was lovely , well presented and the servers were very professional... We just spent our 2nd summer at Pow Wow Point Lodge. They did not disappoint. If you want that unique cottage country experience...we highly recommend PWPL. Love the quiet, love watching the kids do water sports on the dock, the food is so healthy and everyone from the owners to the staff make you feel at home. Was sad to leave after... More

The pros are that the scenery is beautiful and the lake is nice and clean. It is about 25 minutes away from the gates of Algonquin Park. There are friendly chipmunks and ducks that come right up to you. The cabins although very outdated are kept clean along with the rest of the lodge. The staff are friendly and helpful.... More

Wow! Being the owner of a 100 year old resort built on the side of a hill we are limited in being able to control nature. We always inform our guests that we are on a hill and in rural Ontario. Our Front Desk Manager did, as always, inform you of this. As Chef/Owner I am very considerate of dietary... More

This lodge was in a lovely location, but we noticed that it seemed to be showing its age. We had one dinner and two breakfasts in their dining room. The food was just okay, but very convenient to just walk 2 minutes up to the main lodge. We enjoyed the great network of snowshoe trails and ended up snowshoeing on... More

The accommodations were exactly as advertised. The meals were fresh and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We missed the fall colours by a few weeks, but was still beautiful setting. Great boutique shopping in Huntsville (was Girls Getaway Weekend) which we didn't know about, but cashed in on some great deals! All in all a great... More

Stayed in the Maple cottage with my Wife and really loved our stay. Cottage was very nice with a jacuzzi in the living room. Food was absolutely amazing and the quiet around the lake was just what we needed.

I stayed at the Pow Wow resort in July 2013 with a group of 6 women. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite that was in a building with 3 or so other suites. The bedrooms were large and each one had its own large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The kitchen/living area was not huge but spacious enough for us.... More

We had our Fall Gathering of the Ontario Faithful (aka GOOF) at the Pow Wow on the last weekend of September. The accommodation was somewhat rustic and the venue was spectacular. Excellent inclusive food but the drink prices were a bit steep. All-in-all a great place to stay.

We recently spent 3 nights at Pow Wow. We were looking for a small resort without meals included as we love to enjoy the many restaurants near by. We booked through Bookit .com and were able to get a pkg. without meals. We did stay for breakfast on morning. Very good food and staff. The views were fabulous and being... More
