We stopped in Kenora overnight on a road trip. We arrived late and at first weren’t sure if anyone was home but we managed to get through by phone as the owners, I think, were in the garden. Once we met up with hosts Craig and Rob, they were excellent, very friendly and helpful (and a gorgeous dog!) We stayed... More

A work associate and I stayed for two nights at Rob and Craig's place and really enjoyed our stay. The place itself is historic; its location makes it easy to find; and the neighbourhood includes the frequent sight of deer walking through, eating the grass and likely upsetting the home owners as they watch flowers and shrubs take a beating.... I had the great pleasure of staying 2 nights at Kendall House recently while in Kenora on business. I highly, highly recommend it! Rob and Craig are so friendly and welcoming and they extended every effort to make my stay happy and enjoyable -- right down to the smallest detail. I stayed in the upstairs suite and it was lovely,... More

I've nothing positive to say about the Tea Room. Poor service to the point that we felt completely ignored. Over priced offerings were underwhelming. Servers numerous visits to take orders and repeat what the previous waiter asked became an annoyance, especially when we had to wait soooo long for just a cup of tea. Desserts average. Most surprising thing was... More

We unfortunately will not be as positive as some of the other reviews. The house was lovely, both inside and out and very clean. However, we did have some issues with the owners/hosts. The website advised to be checked in between 4 & 6:00 P.M. However, we knew that being in Rushing River for the day and coming 3 hrs... More

Arriving in Kenora around 4:00 in the afternoon, we found Kendall House easily. Rob and Craig are super hosts and the house is beautiful. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Room with a queen bed and lots of space. Three lovely rooms share toilet and bath/shower rooms. Everything is convenient and meticulously decorated. I loved the wallpaper, rugs, and furnishings --... More

Great rooms, impeccably clean in a beautiful downtown character home. The bathroom on the main floor which is shared is spectacular with a claw foot soaker tub. Breakfast was great with the owners being wonderful hosts. The gardens are beautiful. My favorite floor would be the 2nd even though bathroom is shared.

We stayed at the Kendall B & B with our 18 year old daughter. We had one room with a double bed and a second room with twin beds. Both rooms were lovely. My daughter and I were both delighted to have the opportunity to bathe in the gorgeous claw foot bathtub. The little touches like handmade soaps and high... More

We just stayed at the Kendall House last night - We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Rob and Craig were very interesting and explained that many of the beautiful furnishings were from their own families, making it even more special. They were there to explain things, but also gave us plenty of privacy. We had the attic... More

Kendall House B&B is a restored home originally built in the late 1800s. It is painstakingly well maintained and comfortable while still retaining much of the original feel and appearance. The owners live in the building, and prepare breakfast fresh in the morning. When we were there breakfast was even served with homemade bread. It's quiet, comfortable, and very hospitable.... More
