I stayed there based on the reviews on this app, and I was not impressed the room was dirty the sheets, pillow cases were dirty the shower curtain was also dirty the walls had plaster and were not painted the floor was not clean Now if management want to dispute this on this app I will happily change this for... Your response can stay, I'm Shocked, should have let me know immediately , this is unacceptable standards, almost unbelievable .The walls after five years are being muddled and repainted, didn't expect such a busy fall. We are going to start a double checking system to insure our quality standards are upheld. Thanks for caring. More

I recently stayed at this motel with my boyfriend while he was working in Kenora. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed was right comfy, and the shower actually had pressure unlike some big name hotels I have stayed at before. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this to friends and family.

If you can find this motel in less than a half hour you will be doing good. When I was going coming into town I called to get some directions...no answer at 4 pm! Tried several times -- no answer during typical check in time. Finally found it. Office was closed. Sign on door saying "full" but not a car... More

So So Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but so relieved, that the state of your room was excellent. Hard to find the motel, yes I agree I have had to direct people keeping them on the phone. The downtown area is under construction which the GPS puts us in the bush. Tried to fix several times. I'm the... More

My husband and I spent four nights in the Selah Motel. The room was cleaned very well each day. We had a comfortable stay and the price was very affordable. I would definitely stay in the Selah Motel the next time we travel to Kenora.

Customer service is next to nothing when it comes to hotel or motel experience. It has the topmost impact (well at least for us). All else, no matter how modern or complete they are, will be of minor significance when customer service is poor. We checked in at this motel expecting the service will be average considering their rates are... More

After driving from the sault we stopped here for the night. We were pleasantly surprised by the cute and coziness of this place. :-) there was a cute quote on the wall.. The owner was working the front desk that night and you could tell she cared about you and her place. I recommend staying here for a night. Happy... More

Recently renovated mom and pop motel that is reasonably priced. Very nice rooms and bathroom, but small. With a large flat screen TV on the wall, a sofa, and coffee table, the room is a little cramped. The room also has a writing desk, but does not have a desk lamp. WiFi was fast and dependable. The pictures of the... More

Older looking two level motel located on a busy city street. The rooms (about 224 sq ft) are fully renovated along with quality linen. The standard here is one of the best that we have seen in this category. The owner quickly made us feel welcome. Busy little town but the traffic does slow down at nite. We were able... More

This motel is a gem compared to the numerous hotel chains in Kenora, at half the price! Surprisingly modern decor on the inside. We were able to get the last room available after searching for a room in this busy vacation town, and we were so happy to have found it! Would definitely stay again.
