The woman at the desk was very helpful. The restaurant was good. However, the building is in rough shape. There are two large buildings joined by a long, long, long tunnel that never seems to be vacuumed. Every building and hall has heaved off level. The swimming pool water is an inch from the edge at the deep end and more... More

Lobby is nice and Katie at the front desk was very helpful. As others have said, the parking is an issue; even driving a small Toyota Corolla, I had to maneuver very carefully through the lot. The signs warning about bear sightings in the parking lot were a nice touch - better to be warned than surprised, I guess. Thankfully,... More

Booked one night's stay for travellers while they were enroute to Kenora, approx. 2 hours prior to arrival. Received confirmation etc. Travellers arrived and were told that there was no room - even though they found the name of the reservation in their system; the hotel was completely booked! This was the second reservation that was overbooked; they had absolutely... More

There were two good things about this hotel, the front desk staff were friendly, and the air conditioning worked. We needed a place to stay while passing through. Found this hotel and they had a room for the night. The first thing that hit me was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. It was bad. The room... More

I stayed here in June the room was clean the staff was friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant is pretty good and not very expensive. Huge pool for a hotel and reasonably priced. More

The staff was friendly and the indoor pool was nice and surprisingly large. Even though we had a room facing the street, we were not bothered by noise. The drawbacks: extremely soft, saggy mattresses and a price that was excessive for what is a rather mediocre place. More

We stayed at the Travelodge hotel in December 2010, would definitely recommend it. Perfect for the kids as they loved the big pool and hot tub. It is also right downtown and has a very nice restaurant in it. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. More

I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions. I initially was asked to go through the pool area to get to my room, I was then sent to a really small room. I complained because of the noise so I was moved to another room. At about 3 a.m. I awoke from the noise from t he room directly... More

We traveled to Kenora to attend a local car enthusiasts weekend event. Although another hotel was recommended by the 'hosts', we decided to stay at the Travelodge as I frequent another one quite often for business, therefore had accumulated points that could go towards our room. I was a little taken back at the look of the place upon arrival... More

When we first entered the hallway from outside we were struck by the strong stench of urine. Going into our room was not much better. My husband went to the desk to complain where they apologized and gave him some air freshener, which did help a little. Housekeeping then cleaned the hallway to where it was not so offensive to...
