This B&B is really excellent. Amanda is really nice, warm-hearted. The breakfast is also delicious. The room is very cozy and warm, we had a really good sleep. and the bathroom is clean and nice. Everything is so good. There are also free tea and cold drinks. So wonderful!

Mitch and I loved our stay at the Frederick St Inn. We stayed for 2 nights during our licensing exams in the Kitchener area. The comfy common area was great for studying and provided us with study fuel= aka coffee!! Thanks for making this stressful time seem like a gettaway.

We had the opportunity to stay at this hidden treasure for our wedding night. Needless to say everything exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Baird Room which was truly remarkable! It has a very cozy but modern feel to it. The service was magnificent! We had everything ready for us when we arrived and were greeted by a wonderful... More

Had a wonderful stay with friends after Octoberfest this weekend. Great century old property. Very well maintained, clean house, comfy bed and delisious breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to Kitchener downtown.

As a first-time B&Ber (long time traveler), the Frederick Street Inn covers all the bases with home-runs by the professional owner/partnership of Amanda and Harald. This 140 yr. old vintage home in Kitchener was meticulously renovated in the 2006-8 timeframe and converted to a first rate B&B for any type of traveler. Regardless of whether you are an international business/tourist... More

We were in town for a wedding and chose the Frederick Street Inn because we wanted something with more character than a hotel. We stayed in the Baird Suite which is on the second floor in the back corner of the house. It is a lovely king bed room with a beautiful bathroom en suite. Harold welcomed us when we... More

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at this lovely, 140-year-old home. The decor and charm of this centrally located B&B was a big plus during our visit to the K/W region. Thanks to Harold and Amanda for their hospitality!

Four in a room - cosy, but Amanda made it work, and when we asked for the furniture to be rearranged back to normal, they were happy to accommodate us. The breakfasts were delicious every time, and ready when we were. The best surprise was coming back and expecting chaos (which we had left behind) and finding order. Thanks Amanda!

Hi Marcia, Yes we usually recommend the Bastedo room for children. It is separate from the other rooms, on the main floor, has a bathtub. It was great to have your family stay with us. I enjoyed the bustle of the children under feet. (and are they CUTE or what?!) Hope to see you again, Amanda More

It was an extremely last minute decision to book the stay here & I'm so glad I did. Amanda is a wonderful host. I was picked up via the bus station, was given a quick tour of the property before I settled into my lovely room.A very clean and comfortable stay with a yummy breakfast included. Will definitely come back... More

I stayed at Frederick Street Inn for three nights and each time returned to a clean bedroom & bathroom. The comfortable bed, friendly service, delicious and filling breakfasts are worthy of recommendation. I hope to stay there again.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and for debunking the scare of the shared washroom. We have found sometime people are a bit resistant to share a washroom until people actually give it try...and then they are pleasantly surprised. Hope to see you again, Amanda More
