We made it to Marathon on our way to Thunder Bay on motorcycles on June 23rd. When asking the locals about places in town to stay, they all said the Harbour Inn was the best in town. It's not the finest hotel or motel I've stayed in by a long shot, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the... More

Dated but OK for one night as nothing else is available. Furniture too large for the room especially the TV stand. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Chinese dinner at the restaurant down the street was excellent. Again the building is old but the food was good.

Stayed two nights in total a week apart. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Bring a kettle or coffee maker with you if you get up before 7am as there is no coffee available. WiFi is OK for those needing to be connected.

After reading mixed reviews of this spot I had decided I had wanted to drive past Marathon and get to Wawa for the night...but tiredness got in the way and I decided to try this place out. It is nothing to look at from the outside and I wondered what I was going to be in for. I was surprised.... More

Rooms are clean, but the tv stand is way too big for the size of the room. Very basic. Smallest size of area for continental breakfast I have ever seen.....there wasn't any place to sit to enjoy my breakfast.

My sister and I stopped here on our circle tour and we did not have a reservation. It was 8:30 at night and they had one room left which was right off the lobby and facing the parking lot. The sign in clerk warned us that there was a family with 4 kids under the age of 7 in the... More

Half way between Duluth MN and Mackinaw City MI on the Lake Superior Circle route is this town and hotel. Worth the stop. Call for reservations in advance, fill up at times midweek. I agree with the other reviews. Town has a nice choice of places for dinner. Great free Wi-Fi.

This is a clean and hospitable Inn just off the TransCanada Highway in Marathon, Ontario. Staff are pleasant and the rooms are basic but clean. The location lends itself to exploring nearby scenic spots. Just a pleasant unassuming Inn recommendable for business or family stays.

We were 10 people on five motorcycles. We all agreed it was great. Easy to find, clean rooms! Nice people. We would stay again... there isn't much there but we found great food and friendly people. We went to the bar two doors down for beer, coffee, appetizers and snacks. Good atmosphere. We had breakfast at "The Oar House". Excellent... More

I've stayed here a few times over the last ten years or so with work. They charged $95.00 a night, so I will base my review on that cost. This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. There is a continental brakefast in the morning. The beds are comfortable. Check in was quick and professional. There can be a bit... More
