Had to visit a neighboring town but decided to stay over in Midland instead since its larger and has more things to do essentially. Stayed at silverstar which was a good choice, it was right on the main street and good distance to other places like the lake, mall, etc. Thank-you for having me.

Needed to crash in the town for a night due to weather. The motel was on a Main Street and had good reviews so decided to stay here. The bed was really comfy and the room was decent, had no problems. Would stay here again if I were to adventure back to this town.

My family has visited this town before and stayed here last year. The rooms were decent and the price was good, discount for returning is obviously nice! Tried a couple of different recommended restaurants in the area that were close by. The staff remembered us which was pleasant, they're very friendly.

Solo traveler, came in for a weekend. Had a good stay, no complaints. It was comfortable and affordable, the staff is very friendly and understanding if I needed anything. The town is nice and quiet as well.

Although the bedding and towels were clean, the rest of the room was badly in need of attention. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling where the fan should have been; no plug for the sink; chipped, cracked mirror, vanity and sink. One overhead light (with a burned out bulb) and a small lamp, so hardly any light in... More

I booked for 15Aug.2014 through TRAVELOCITY . I cancelled as per agreement by 15July2014. I then found I was charged by hotel anyhow. When I contacted hotel employee ? or possible owner ? They told me they had contacted Travelocity the next day re our no show (which we cancelled in line with the rules) and was told by Travelocity... More

Small cramped room! The window curtain was off the rod in several spots. A musty smell was coming from the air conditioner... We decided to check out after one night and tried to get our money back and cancel our second night stay, but the manager would not give us a full refund because we had paid for both nights,... Owners are very nice people. Room was clean, but very tiny. King size bed was not comfortable at all, did not sleep much all night. No green space whatsoever save for a picnic table in the designated smoking/garbage area. The motel across the street looked much more inviting with a gazebo and grassy areas to sit outside. This motel had... More

We spent one night at this motel and were very happy with the facility. Modest exterior appearance and surroundings, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Price for this popular summer vacation area was reasonable.

My pals and I stayed for a couple of nights this July at the Ashgrove Inn whilst on a golfing trip in the area; glad we did, as it is in a very good location, friendly management, clean and well appointed. Nothing too fancy, moderately priced and has everything one needs for a small town motel. Midland has good pubs... More
