I attended a family wedding and stayed with this hotel. When I arrived, there was another wedding party taking place. The staff kept our party together, made things easier to locate each other. A very good experience.

Location caters to business community north of Toronto. Mainly industrial in nature. Close to fast food outlets, major shopping centre and on Yonge street. Accessible to Highways #404 leading to Don Valley Parkway and #9 which leads to #400 and #401/#407, etc.

Dear 56ashm, Thank you for responding with a Trip Advisor review. As you mentioned, we are posiitoned well with many conveniences in the immediate area and accessible by the two main arteries heading north from Toronto. Our guests enjoy the made to order breakfasts served at the Buttery Restaurant just of the lobby before heading off for the day. Giving... More

Stayed with my wife after a good friend’s bridal party and this was the hotel arranged. It was quite cheap so I wasn't expecting much, but I heard the Buttery restaurant was the best breakfast in town. First impressions of the hotel were as expected: The staff was friendly, the building and elevator old and outdated and the hallways incredibly... More

Dear Bed-lessBirthday, I always reply to Trip Advisor comments promptly and personally however I was out of the country. I am sorry your stay was not what you had expected. This construction has from time to time caused us frustration with unexpected interruptions of services as they are working on the infrastructure. I know we are dealing with the rapid... More

but be very aware of travelling time, to & from hotel there is much road construction at the hotel area, causing much delay, for another 2 years. The staff were very pleasant. The attached restaurant was very good value & served tasty food.

Dear LMG160, Thank you for reviewing our hotel on Trip Advisor. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and the Buttery Restaurant. Yes, there are certain times of the day when entering or departing our hotel takes a little more time due to the construction as the Town of Newmarket is accommodating its current and future growth. Thank... More

We stayed at the Best Western Voyageur for a period of just over 3 months while our house underwent extensive renovations. We chose this place, because of it's close proximity to our house and the kids school. After my initial call and speaking to hotel manager Shelly, I knew I had found the right place to call "home" for a... More

Dear Joe F, Your review of our hotel and your stay with us has been appreciated by all the staff. A three month stay away from home is demanding on all the family. Add an extensive renovation to your house to the equation only increases the stress and tension. I am pleased that we were able to ease some of... More

If all you want is a good night's sleep and decent food in a convenient location, this hotel is just fine. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hot water took a long time to arrive in the tub and shower but once it did, it was fine. This is a no frills hotel with no amenities... More

Dear Rolland H, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. We invested in Simmons Beauty Pillow Top beds as we feel that a goodnight's sleep is one of the main things guests are expecting at a hotel. The Buttery restaurant has been with us for just over 25 years and are generally 3rd or... More

I arrived late, after a day of visiting Toronto. Lots of road construction and I am told it will be going on for a while but it didn't impede entrance to the hotel. My first floor room was waiting for me and even at that late hour I was able to park in front of my room. The staff were... More

Not much in the way of amenities and the current construction on Davis can make it a little difficult to get into but the bed was incredible and the service was excellent. Be prepared though in your planning as they have only one elevator and the wait can be long. Parking is a premium so you may have to park... More

Dear gunshycanuck, Thank you for your comment on Trip Advisor. Growth in a town has to include road construction to improve the service to its residents, unfortunately that comes with a period of inconvenience. They say it is to prepare us for our future needs. Our parking spaces were reduced as we finally had the appropriate weather to resurface the... More

This was a pretty average hotel. Not amazing, not horrible. However, the front desk staff were really amazing, helpful, friendly and kind. This was my first time staying in a hotel with my 6 month old baby and they were so good to me and made me feel relaxed. I was stressing out because my baby was WAAAAYYYYY off schedule... More

This hotel was just horrible. Everything was untrue. They don't have a pool - but instead give you voucher for a public pool many blocks away. They don't offer breakfast - but instead give you 5% off of a restaurant in the complex. They don't have a gym - but instead give you a voucher for a gym several blocks... More
