First off, the hotel staff from the front desk to housekeeping and bartenders are all great! So fun to talk too will do anything for you! Great hotel. Have stayed several times. The smoking rooms are aging but still in good shape. The non- smoking rooms are in the new part of the building and are in awesome shape! Bathrooms... more

First off i have been to this hotel twice. I only came back the second time because the other hotels did not have pools/hot tubes or they were out of order. I found a LIST of issues with the hotel and the hotel room. - long black hair between my bed sheets - bits of candy cane on the bath... more

I firstly would like to say I have no idea what Leema is saying as I do not agree with her or him at all. My husband and I stayed at this hotel just this week and for a hotel up north in the cottage country full of motels and cheaper resorts this was the greatest out of all of... more

I would have misgivings putting-up homeless people at this hotel. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that they have wide parking spaces in front of the rooms. Meaning people in big vans and pickup trucks can't easily ding your car door. If this is your only criteria then I whole-heartedly recommend this place, because it... more

Right when we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist and we gout our rooms. The rooms are in the back corridors, so we dropped out stuff off in our rooms (very clean and spacious rooms) and a very quiet area, must point out that this hotel is visible right from the highway so we did not even have to... more

Quality Inns should be ashamed of this place. It appears to have been taken over as a Lodge for the road workers. The Golden Grill took an hour to give us our food which arrived cold when we complained we got shrugged shoulders. It must have been job swop day as no one knew what to do and Skip on... more

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite... Terrible. It was above the ice machine which was insanely loud, and corridor doors slamming and maids dragging stuff from their storage room at 6:30 am really got the day off to a bad start. Then the barking dog started in the hallway. Then we tried to use the shower and the morning went... more

I stayed at this Quality Inn for one night with my two children. The ladies at the front desk were not too helpful. The majority of rooms are in two long corridors -- ours was at the end with no luggage trolley available - it was a pain to haul everyhting down the long hallway. The room itself was big... more

We stayed at the former Jolly Roger Inn just after it had become Quality Inn. The room was huge, clean, and affordable. It is right off Highway 69, a convenient stopover for our regular trips to see family in Northern Ontario. more

We stayed at the Quality Inn (former Jolly Roger Inn) in October 2005 for two nights. Rooms are spacious, newly renovated. We had no complaints at all. The hotel is only located a short drive (7 miles) from downtown Parry Sound. Compared to the Comfort Inn in Parry Sound you might save 1/3 of the rate. more
