There is nothing like sitting with a warm cup of java and noshing on yummy lemon souffle panclettes (my new term for mini pancakes!) while writing a review on Trip Advisor! I can't speak enough about what great hosts Julie and Edmund are! Their home is warm and welcoming and the conversations are always interesting and lively! They go out... More

Great location and wonderful hospitality. Julie and Edmond are very open and accommodating. We had a vegetarian and vegan and they were very conscious of our choices and made amazing breakfast. It was very clean with lots of space. I had a great sleep and I can't say enough about the delicious food.

Julie and Edmund are fantastic. We've stayed at their B&B before and it was first on our list for a little get away. Breakfasts are always yummy as Edmund whips up ginger and coconut pancakes, an egg omelet made with local and organic ingredients or some fruit soup, just prefect on a freezing cold winter's morning. Of course, one must... More

A beautiful home with inn keepers to match. Stayed 2 nights with a friend before our kayak adventure. Clean comfortable room with two twin beds at an excellent price was perfect. Breakfast and conversation was wonderful. They helped us plan our tour day, suggested places for dinner and even joined us for fireworks on Canada day. Also were very accomidating... More

Mariner's Rest B&B is well-located; just a short walk from the marina. The accommodations were spotless and extremely comfortable. The proprietors, Julie and Edmund, couldn't have been more hospitable. Breakfast (included) was delicious as well as visually lovely. The other guests were charming and breakfast was friendly and low-key. I recommend this B&B without reservation!!

We have been coming to Parry Sound for the last 5 years every long weekend in September and every time we have a fantastic stay. Edmund and Julie are great hosts and there is always a different and delicious breakfast the next day. Easy walking distance to a number of restaurants, the Stokey Centre and very nice walking paths. Enjoy!

The previous reviews are accurate in regards to the house, the hosts, food and location. However, the host could not provide us with a key to the front door as he did for the other guests. The bedroom doors do no lock. Sometime between the time we had breakfast in the sunroom and the time we departed money went missing... More

Stayed 3 nights here during our tour of parts of Ontario. This has got to be one of the best B&B's there is. Julie and Edmund were most welcoming and the house was beautiful. Only 2 guest rooms 1 double and 1 twin and a guest bathroom. Edmund made the most fantastic breakfasts we have ever had, different each day. Parry... More

Charming home and delightful hosts. They made us feel at home and they provided the most delicious homemade breakfast. They were also a tremendous source of information and helped make the most of our stay.
