The owner/staff at the desk was not happy that I booked on line with Expedia.....thought I should have booked it on the hotel site or called the hotel. Not sure why! The room was clean enough but as someone else said, the bed spread was dirty in our room, too. When we left in the morning, I had to call... More

Nothing fancy here, but the room was clean and morning shower water hot. Continental breakfast was very basic. Hotel is OK for an overnight stay but nothing special. Wifi free & worked fine. Hotel staff were very friendly!

This hotel was just Ok - even for the price we paid. The bedspread was dirty - looked like it hadn't been washed in awhile. The rest of the room seemed clean. It was spacious. No coffee maker. The only ice machine was in the main office area. The so called "continental breakfast" was next to nothing. If you weren't... More

Very happy to stay here, clean room with enough space for 4. Waffles for breakfast also perfect. Close to an enormous mall so if you have time to spare go there for some shopping. Sad to say that having to type 200 characters does not really motivate me to leave more meaningfull comments

This hotel is located about 2-3 minutes from downtown Pembroke. The room first impression was good with refreshed bathroom, modern flat screen TV, fridge. Hotel was quiet. Front staff was friendly. Breakfast choice was toast, waffle, cereal and muffin. Room was $95+tx.

We stayed here on our way to Montreal. We left Timmins late and decided to take the rest in Pembroke. This hotel can use some remodeling. We were on the 2nd floor and some of the windows in the hallway were open and missing the screen so the night fliers were coming in the hallway and having a great time.... More

We made our reservation from the hotel's website, with Canadian taxes this less than stellar property cost $101.69. The room smelled when we got in, I recognized it after being on the road for so long. It is a stale dank smell coming from the shower curtain. It eeks into the main room. We had inquired to be sure we... More

We stayed at this hotel with a group, travelling for a hockey tournament. The hotel is dated but has been updated including tub inserts in the bathrooms, microwave, TVs, wireless internet, and fridge in the rooms. The rooms, hallway and bathrooms were all quite clean but dated and worn, however we felt it was good value for the money. There... More

Not a bad place for the money but wouldnt book here again. Booked with kids as we were visiting the fiddle festival down the road. Breakfast was good but we were rushed due to limited seating and we had to wait to be seated. Rooms were ok but need updating. Mattresses were too soft and old for my liking. Although... More

No luxury hotel here. Mattresses were excellent but room had a humming noise coming from the floor above. Breakfast included is on paper plates and styrofoam cups with plastic cutlery. It's "economy." Flat screen TV with plenty of channels. Fridge in room. Relatively clean.
