My husband and I woke up around three thirty to find bites all over my upper body. On the way to washroom to inspect further my husband found a huge bug on my neck so we squished it in hope of finding out what it was. One trip on google showed us what bed bugs were. When I contacted the... More

I don't understand all the negatives. We stopped for overnite, friendly staff, room was CLEAN, but small. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops. And good value for you're $$. Would deff. stay again.

We were tired and took the first place we could find, big mistake. Rang the bell a few times and out comes Mrs.Roper, caftan and no front teeth, knickknacks everywhere and dogs with teats hanging low. This is when we should have ran, but we were tired travellers. So we pay and get the key, room was something else, toilet... More

We decided to find a cheap motel instead of sleeping in the car again. Although this place is ancient; cracked leather couch, dented and very outdated furniture, and smoke infused, it appeared to be clean. We were afraid of bedbugs so we stripped the bed and inspected under all the sheets and mattresses. Under the bed, behind and under furniture,... More

2 weeks ago i rented a room for 3 nights. I checked out, paid by credit card and thought everything was fine. The next week I noticed a second charge on my credit card. The manager refused to reimburse the transaction and told me that I called and reserved a room that week too but did not show. I explained... More

Found this motel online, just wanted to save a few bucks. BAD IDEA! My husband & I were so tired from driving that we just crashed. We didn't bring our bags in because the room was so gross that we assumed that there would be bed bugs, we took off the duvet cover & slept on top of the ancient sheets.... More

A friend and I went up to visit CFB Petawawa. We were looking for a simple cheap place to sleep for the night no frills etc. Something that wouldn't charge $100+ for a night. So you get what you pay for! Lady was friendly, room was tidy but old. A/C was full of dust and mold, and it was hot... More

Couldn't find anything so settled for this poorly maintained motel. Figured I'd ruff it. Well I was hungry so didn't take the time to inspect the room for bugs. I ate my supper and watched TV. When it was time to go to sleep about 1 1/2 hours of being there I decided to look under and behind the bed... More

We travelled to Petawawa on September 8, 2011 so I could check out my old PMQ on the base. We found out to our dismay that due to road construction in the area, there weren't many vacancies in the area near the base. We were turned away from two hotels and Champlain Motor Inn was the next one on the... More
