The room are spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. The service is good. There is nothing special about this hotel, but there is nothing wrong either. It is a bit far from uptown, but the bus #7 runs often and has a direct route to uptown Waterloo.

As noted by others, this hotel is in serious need of renos. Frayed, stained carpets, chipped tubs, very noisy aircon. Noticing the acres of empty, dusty parking lot on arrival, I had serious misgivings. Waited a very long time for service at front desk. On a positive note, the bed was very satisfactory. The restaurant food was also okay, if... More

I first went to this hotel when my daughter started University and it was great. For someone from a small town, it was easy to get to, close to where I needed to go, had a restaurant and a very nice pool/hot tub area and ample parking. But, the time has come for some overdue renovations. The carpets are tired.......as... More

I love the Four Points in Cambridge and usually stay there when I have to be in the Waterloo region but this time I needed to be closer to the university campus in Waterloo and the options are limited. However, the Waterloo Inn was a very good place to stay. When you pull up to the front of the hotel,... More

For our wedding night we decided to stay at the Waterloo Inn and splurge on the honeymoon suite with the 2 person Jacuzzi tub. I've been in much nicer hotel rooms that cost less. Although the room and bathroom were large by most standards, the jacuzzi tub was old and the decor a bit tired. Given the price ($350), and... More

The Waterloo Inn was the hosting facility for a conference I attended recently. The location was perfect for people coming from all across the province. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and accomodating, the food is delicious and the meeting rooms are perfect. The banquet room on the lower level has a raised section and a... More

We stayed at the Waterloo Inn in March 2012 and found it very nice. The pool was well heated and a decent size. The room with 2 queen beds was pretty large. The inn has many different wings but it is not confusing since it is well marked. On the way to the elevators we needed we had to pass... More

I've stayed at the Waterloo Inn several times in the past. The hotel is clean...that's most important thing to me. However, one of the last times we stayed there, there was construction going on and the hotel fire alarm accidentally went off at 7 AM. On my last visit, the shower knob in our room came off and so we... More

Waterloo Inn is a great place to stay. I stayed at the hotel in the middle of winter and yet the extensive lobby of the hotel, specially the area near the pool, with ample green plants, appeared to give an impression that it is spring. The room was comfortable and clean. There are plenty of eating options around. Parking is... More
