I stayed at the Waterloo Inn for 4 nights while in the area on business. I was overall impressed with the service and room while I was there. After returning from my trip I discovered that I had left multiple clothing items in the dresser. I called the front desk and spoke to Andrew who tried assisting me, I also... More

Stayed at the Waterloo Inn for a conference in early May. Room was OK but a bit small. Had a fabulous two-person standup shower (no bathtub) which was really cool, complete with the hand held nozzle. The bath towels were THE nicest and most luxurious I have ever experience in a hotel. Here is my big complaint on service. The... More

We only stayed one night last November. There weren't many other decent options and this one was recommended by the host of the dinner party that we went to Waterloo for. I can't say I was overwhelmed by the place but then again there was nothing terribly wrong with it either. The check in process was fine but we didn't... More

I stay in the Waterloo Inn a few times a year. For anyone who has stayed in hotels in the region, they would know that generally the standard is not very high. There are a lot of old, shabby hotels in the area, even those run by the big names. On this stay I was delighted to see that my... More

We were in town for a dance competition and stayed for 3 nights. On the 3rd morning we requested housekeeping on our door. When we returned at 5:00 p.m. the room had not been cleaned. Spoke to the front desk and was assured it would be cleaned after 6:00 when the night time housekeeping staff arrived. At 7:20 we called... More

Always clean, always comfortable. Staff nice and professional. We stay here whenever in the KW area and have never had any problems. The hotel is generally pretty quiet so it is a great place if you have small children and they love the small pool.

Stayed for ringette tournament. Wanted to check out a day early and was charged $89.99 + tax as early checkout penalty. We were there for 3 days and gave notice on first day that we wanted to check out early. Tried to follow up via email with hotel manager, no success. Breakfast buffet was weak at best.

We appreciate your feedback. All conditions for the group were made clear at the time of the original group booking and signing of the contract in June of 2012. Your group had a seven day prior to arrival cancellation and hence notifying the hotel on the day of arrivals did not meet the conditions set in the contract. We are... More

If you can avoid the Waterloo Inn, do. Never have I stayed in a hotel that was so inflexible. We came to a sport tournament in town, lost early and wanted to check out one early, only to be charged $90 for not giving one week's notice. We were already there 3 days!! And gave plenty of notice. Also the... More

We were sorry to hear you were disappointed. Thank you for your feedback. It gives us the opportunity to correct some of your feedback. We did offer to move your room once it was brought to our attention on the last night of your stay. The offer was declined. This was not an individual reservation the contract signed in June... More

The Waterloo Inn provides good value for business travel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have a fridge. The restaurant has a good breakfast menu as well as breakfast buffet. When they get busy it can be hard to get the attention of the waiter though. Be prepared to walk as the hotel complex is quite spread out.

Stayed here for around 12 days and found it to be pretty good. Waterloo Inn rooms were nice, comfy and clean. The Rushes restaurant though was bit expensive but serves quality food and you wouldn't be disappointed.
