It wasn't made clear in the online listing that this is a college residence. Lino floors and minimal carpeting in the rooms. Neither mine nor my companions's thermostats worked -- the rooms were chilly all night. Management charged my credit card the full amount THREE WEEKS BEFORE we checked in. The free breakfast was a madhouse of confusion -- not... More

These units are set up as 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, desk and tv, a shared bathroom with shower, and a shared kitchen with fridge and microwave. However there are no cooking utensils or dishes. It is perfect for a family or two couples -- it did not feel small. The suite is basic but clean. Breakfast... More

My wife and I booked ourselves and two other couples into the Niagara Residence for a night after spending a day biking between wineries. We had no preconceived expectations - we knew it was going to be a college dorm and not the Hilton. We booked in because it fit the budget and was close to where we wanted to... More

Stayed here with a sports team. When compared with staying in a local motel,I thought it a better deal. Two separate bedrooms, with double beds.Although there is a kitchen, they do not supply kitchen supplies/utensils. Breakfast is what you would expect for a continental breakfast. Was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Room does have free Wifi, but... More

My wife, son and I shared a two-bedroom suite for one night. It's a college dorm but our room was clean, there was a TV with working cable in each room and plenty of hot water for showering. Breakfast in the morning was fine although like many hotels that provide complimentary breakfast, the coffee was so weak it was undrinkable... More

I booked our team accommodations at the residence for a sport event taking place at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. The accommodations were what should be expected from a dorm/residence. Good, inexpensive place to stay.

Staying at a college dorm has a couple advantages over a hotel. First, it's especially useful when going with a group, where sleeping in the same room is not always the best. We got a suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a common kitchen area. Second, they have a pool table, foosball table, and ping pong table, plus a movie... More

I was surprised to learn upon arrival that this is a dorm for a local college utilizing its residential students' halls in the summer months when they are empty. Very affordable, relatively clean, good continental breakfast. I shared a room with a friend and we each had our own room within the space with full-sized beds and our own tvs.... More
