Brutal, upon arrival on Friday at 4pm, all we could hear outside our room was sanding. This motel of the Interconti-hotel group is just right for an overnight stay on your way from Toronto to/from Ottawa or Montreal on the Highway of Heroes (#412), approx. 1hr west of Kingston. This hotel charged a $100 noise complaint to my credit card without informing me. On the evening of the stay, the hotel staff did not properly investigate where the noise was coming from or provide warnings to my group of friends. Apparently, there was some sort of "miss-communication". We booked our rooms with their altogether friendly staff, and even took the time to confirm our booking ahead of time. I spent 5 nights here last month and found it to be quite nice. Seemed very new. Room was quiet and clean, bathroom average-ish. Bed very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ample and fine. There are lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Location is convenient. I would definitely stay again. more
