Upon our arrival we were met by the Owners Anneke & Carmelo . We found them warm and inviting and welcomed us into their home for our 3 night stay. Our Room was located downstairs for which we were grateful as it was very warm for the duration of our stay. Our Room had a very comfortable Bed and was... More

Where to even begin? Carmelo and Anneke were the perfect hosts. Between them six or seven languages are spoken. All three of the guest rooms have a private bath and are wonderfully furnished with hand-crafted furniture and comfortable beds. Very quiet and has a private entrance. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful - make double sure you try the smoked salmon omelet... More

We were so fortunate as to find the listing for the Stella Alpina on the Canmore Bow Valley Bed and Breakfast Association website (http://www.bbcanmore.com) for a last-minute booking. This website clearly indicated availability without having to dig through a bunch of individual B&B websites. We had a fabulous visit at the Stella Alpina in the Flower Room. The room was... More

Anneke and Carmelo were great hosts. Breakfasts were varied and included delicious baked items such as croissants, cinnamon buns and banana bread, fresh fruit every day and the most delicious omelette with choices of filling. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean. Carmelo gave us great advice about the local places to spot wildlife including two sets of nesting ospreys... More

Anneke & Carmelo are perfect hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, well experienced in the travel industry, and great cooks. Their smoked salmon (smoked in-house) or wild mushroom (picked locally) omelettes are delicious, as is their homemade focaccia and all the other goodies they generously provide for breakfast. They have put a lot of work into their house and gardens and are proud... More

We were only able to stay one night in Canmore after we changed our road trip. We were so fortunate that we stayed at Stella Alpina and that we met the lovely hosts Carmelo and Anneke who take such pride in their food and lodging. Our bedroom was warm and confortable with a nice sized well equipped bathroom. The breakfast... More

We stayed with our 12 year old daughter and it was a delightful weekend holiday. The breakfasts were fabulous; delicious omelettes and oven fresh croissants, fresh fruit, and rhubarb juice. It was a gourmet breakfast each day. Carmelo and Anneke were terrific hosts. Our rooms were very comfortable and roomy for the 3 of us. Thanks so much.

I spent three nights at this b and b and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation, breakfasts and helpful advice from Anneke and Carmelo. They are very personable and have great suggestions for hiking in the area. And their garden is lovely. Plus, when I booked in January, since they did not have availability for all the nights I...
