Was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was for families. When we checked in there was cookies and tea in the lobby. Rooms are huge! Nice cabinet/kitchen area with fridge and microwave. We had our Family Reunion at this Inn. I can't say enough about the service we had there. They bent over backward to accomodate anything we asked for. There were around 65 of us there an not one of us had a complaint about the rooms or the service. Any one of us would recommend this Inn to others. more

Very nice, newer hotel. Continental breakfast was standard fare but good. Kids enjoy the pool and waterslide. Hot tub is also bigger then most hotels. We stayed on the backside of the hotel. You do hear some traffic noise from the service road behind the hotel so if this bothers you get a room on the frontside. more

The Pocaterra Inn is on the end of Canmore's main drag, closest to the Banff National Park entrance. The architecture has stone and log look that suits its mountain setting. The lobby, pool, breakfast area, and most importantly, the room was spacious, clean and inviting. This felt luxurious for a non-resort hotel. We felt impressed for the price we paid.... more
