My wife, 18 month daughter and I went from Calgary to Canmore for an overnight getaway from the city, and were delighted with the Pocaterra. The staff was friendly, rooms clean and new, and the free breakfast was everything we needed. The cherry on the cake was the pool with waterslide. The slide was too fast for our little girl,... more

Excellent hotel with great staff and views to boot. We stayed there on our journey from Saskatchewan to Vancouver and liked it so much we took a detour from Portland in Oregon on our way back to stay there again. Clean and spacious and within an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Canmore. I would recommend that you... more

Just got back from a golf week-end in Canmore. We stayed two nights at this hotel. Upon check in, we were offered freshly baked cookies and iced tea. Staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Nice indoor pool and hot tub! Would definately stay here again. Beautiful view of the mountains - especially the Three... more

I’ve always liked Best Westerns, and the Pocaterra is no exception. This was our second time here and everything was as good as could be expected. We booked one of the exec suites which is worth what we paid for it. Large flat screen TV’s, albeit with a limited channel selection, gas fireplaces, huge bathroom with jetted tub, decent continental... more

Pool was always clean, used the gym room and it was very tidy! Steam room was a pleasure -... more

We stayed at the Pocaterra Inn June 2009 for a few nights while visiting the Canmore/Banff area. The price was very reasonable compared to other locations in the town. The hotel location is ideal, right off the main highway. The rooms are clean and spacious with fireplace and excellent view of the surrounding mountains. We would recommend this hotel to... more

Beds were a 6 of 10 ...comfortable but maybe a little worn as I awoke with a backache both mornings. We enjoyed the pool and spa except the pool or spa irrated my skin and my... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Best Western Port O Call in Calgary and had a wonderful experience so while we were in Edmonton we were looking for a place to stay after our trip to Jasper and decided that we would stay just outside of the hustle and bustle of Banff. What a treat this place was! This... more
