Pros: - Location Cons: - They make you pay a $100 deposit PER room key which they don't tell you until you check in. If you want 2 keys, it's a $200 deposit - There is a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door so you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the hallway, kids running up and... More

I am driving behind my daughter as she is cycling for mental health awareness and suicide prevention from Vancouver to Hamilton. When we arrived at this hotel, I noticed a sign posted on the door that bikes are not allowed in the building. We explained the situation and said that she cannot afford to leave her bikes outside (1 being... More

This was a very basic, affordable hotel which was good enough for a one/ two night stay. The things that bothered me the most were that there was no coffee machine/ coffee in the room and no refrigerator. We spent one night there on the way to Jasper National Park, and one night coming back. It was very hot the... More

We stayed here two nights while exploring the Canmore/Banff area. The price was reasonable and the location is very good. The hotel itself is, as many reviewers have said, pretty basic. Our room was clean, and reasonably comfortable. The rooms are not large but ok for a couple of nights stay. There is no fridge or microwave in the room.... More

1. The hallway and the room smell like food. 2. Damp carpet. 3. Dirty bed with uneven bed sheet. 4. Bad customer service! And rude!!! 5. The broken bed lamp. 6. The sticky table in the room. Even for $99, it wasn't worth your money to stay in this kind of place. I didn't expect luxury, but dirty room is... More

quite literally in this case. The online reviews of this hotel vary wildly, and I can understand that, as they are likely based on expectations. The price, which is uncharacteristically low for Canmore, should give you some clues; this is not the Waldorf-Astoria. The rooms are budget style (but clean), two queen beds, with basic furnishings, and no fridge, but... More

This is one the cheapest hotels in Canmore. So it is evident that you don't expect luxury; and we didn't! But I have had stayed in places which were around the same price, but much better. I feel that being a budget place, doesn't mean you need to have rude staff and dirty beds. This place mainly put me off... More

Found this hotel you get what you pay for. It was very dirty and there were ants in the bathroom, on the dresser and crawling in the bed. When we told the front desk and we were told they would "look into it" but nothing was done. We asked the morning we left if we could check out half an... More

had made a reservation for a one night stay, however due to unusual spring weather with snow and poor road conditions, and with the RCMP not recommending travel on highway 1, we asked to cancel or change reservation to another date. They would not accommodate this request. will not use this facility again

Had to go to Canmore for the weekend for a kids sports event. My wife had booked this hotel based on price, via the internet. The bottom line: Its pretty basic with no restaurant or major amenities, but, it was a great deal price wise, and we weren't using the room for anything other than sleeping at night. It was... More
