While the hotel is new , the rooms feel like oversized closets. The bed takes up the whole room. There is absolutely no room to put your bag let alone do anything else. I've travelled alot around the world and I've never seen such a [--] tiny hotel room in Canada. Even in Europe this would be considered small... The... more

The rooms were so compact I felt I was in a European hotel. No air conditioning and very poor ventilation. This must be a common problem as both of the rooms we had booked had addittional fans for us to use in a vain attempt to cool the space. By morning we were all exhausted and happy to leave. The... more

Went for dinner this evening with a table of 5. Even after recomending this to friends. Well the recomendation, now is do not go there. All's going untill the GM Alain and his family arrive, which is fine as he has much right as I to be there. The staff are all over him like a bad rash they forget... more

This is a lovely place and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is just 20 mins to the busy Banff but if you want a great view, immaculate rooms and still within an easy distance of everything then this is the place to stay. We stayed in a Queen Suite and it was ideal with a nice lounge... more

When we learned that the hotel we had booked did not take pets, we booked this hotel. It was the best place we satyed during our trip. It is right across the street from Oh Canada Eh and the rooms and the staff were excellent. more

We were very disappointed in the Windtower. We stayed in a basic room with one queen bed. Beautiful, classy decor. However, there were 9 inches (I measured) between the bed and the wall. Almost claustrophobic. Wonderful linens. The bed itself was great. No air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan and a floor fan, but the room is so small... more

I've just spent the weekend in Canmore staying three nights at the Windtower. It didn't start well when the key card they gave us wouldn't open the underground car park and the receptionist said "that happens a lot" We were supposed to be booked into a condo which is owned by the company my husband works for, but when we... more

The hotel was new, nicely decorated and although the rooms were extremely small, it was adequately stocked with a comfy bed. This was probably the noisiest place we've ever stayed in. You heard the people next to you, in the halls, all the way to the front desk, as if they were in your room. Not sure they can correct... more

We came to canmore to have a couple days at the Calgary Stampede and Calgary was completely booked out. Found this place on the internet, and booked a 2 bed suite (very reasonable). When we arrived, we were suprised how spacious the suite was, it had a washing & drying machine, and even a dishwasher, and all the cooking /... more
