The price was right on this hotel, but in the end it cost more. We left our laundry in a clear bag beside our luggage while we went out for the day, and found that someone had either stolen our clothes or thrown them out while we were gone. They insisted that we pay the full amount for the room,... more

All the other reviews were right on the money. I Was in Canmore for a few days of mountain biking. When I brought my very expensive santa cruz into my room I was told I couldn't keep the bike in my room because it would damage the wall paper. When I asked for my money back they changed there tune.... more

After travelling to Vancouver Island, Whistler, Jasper and then to Canmore, with our friends from Australia, we spent a terrible night at the Canmore Inn. Arriving after dark we were booked into 2 rooms on the second floor at the back of the inn. The rooms looked decent at first glance and as we had a long day we went... more

We stayed at this motel one night. We chose it because it looked very nice outside. When we got into our room there was a rotten egg in the closet been there a while, pizza boxes and other stuff under the bed ,white spots on the floor use you imagination and our sheets where dirty. When we told the front desk... more

The outside of the hotel looks very inviting, but I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviews. Our room not only faced the train tracks but was right next to the pool. You can only imagine the noise. The rooms are not sound resistant and you heard every converstation both in the hallway and the adjoing room along... more

Beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains from Room 259, "Carriage Suite". Lots of Room for our group of eight, however only enough beds for 6 and required an extra cot. Continental breakfast offered an excellent selection which included pastries, pancakes, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Kids loved the water slide and swimming pool. However the pool was extremely... more

I recently spent the weekend (2 nights) at this hotel. Let me just say that all the other reviews are right on the money. The hide - a - bed that my mother slept on had dirty sheets on it, we know this because they were all in a ball at the end of the bed when we opened it... more

The hotel is as near to the railway line as it's possible to be without being either a) the train driver or b) a passenger and the hotel offers free earplugs to combat the noise! The upstairs of the hotel has one central corridor which all the rooms lead off and unfortunately we found this made it even noisier when... more

Well let me tell you, I have stayed numerous times in Canmore and never have I been treated this well in 20 years of travelling. First of all the Canmore Inn & Suites website is a dream to navigate through, I found a room right away. We had booked the Deluxe room with 2 Queen size beds and had requested... more

My family (5 people) recently spent 2 days at the Canmore Inn & Suites. The staff at the main desk were very firendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows quite comfortable. The hotel was close to Banff but the rate was substantially less than the Banff hotels and included a great breakfast each morning.... more
