Recently spent 5 days there using Starwood Points. Now called Hotel of the Rockies and no longer a Starwood property. We had upgraded to a larger room (202), which was worth it as there were 3 adults in our party. Generally convenient for Banff National Park and Canmore town site. Views from room are of highway or parking lots so... more

Now called the hotel of the Rockies and no longer affiliated with Starwood. We visited family in Canmore and stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I found the service to be very helpful, they provided a COT for us for the entire stay. We liked the location, close to the highway. We would stay there again for sure. more

We had booked in advance for a Saturday night stay. We were informed of the 4 pm check in time. We arrived at 3:30 hoping to be accomodated earlier but there were no clean rooms in the hotel (!??!). Our Room wasn't ready until 5 pm! The thing that made our wait so painful is that my husband and I... more

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The lobby is cute and inviting but it is much more of a motel than anything else. There is plenty of parking and fast food restaurants, should you choose. The location is easy to access from the highway but not particulary pretty location. The walls are very thin but the rooms are a good... more

After booking this hotel for 1 night, I read reviews on tripadvisor and was worried we'd made a mistake. Nothing of the sort. We had a quiet room with a wicked view of the mountains when we awoke. Yes, the carpets are very dated, but we didn't sleep on the carpets. For $99 per night, the beds were fine and... more

This was the second time we've decided to stay at the Four Points Sheraton in Canmore, but the first time that we have booked the jacuzzi loft suite. The room was fantastic, extremely large with a great view of the mountains! On the bottom level there was a small fireplace, a TV, hide-a-bed, fridge, microwave, sink and washroom. The upstairs... more

I stayed here on business, although I am a also a frequent leisure traveler to the Banff/Canmore area. I have always had the impression that the 4 points sheraton looked to be a 'nicer' Canmore hotel (aesthetically compared to the competition)and location-wise it is beautifully cradled at the base of a mountain. I was quite disapointed! The lobby was very... more

Reasonable hotel, convieniently located off the Trans Canada Highway, with appealing lobby, restaurant and rates. Only complaint was the musty smell in the room but it was a unique room with a 20+ foot vaulted ceiling and a wonderful view of the majestic Canadian Rockies. I think I got what I paid for and was pleased with the free wireless... more

We stayed 3 nights and our room was reasonably clean and comfortable. However, the common areas in the hotel need substantial improvements. We stayed on the second floor and the common area carpet from the elevator to our room was dirty, torn, and so warn that it was a safety problem. The lobby is a bit cleaner but still looks... more

This is the most ill thought out Four Points hotel I have ever seen. There are some good ones out there, such as the one in Halifax and in Quebec City (although the location of that one is bizarre). Built in a resort town, the Four Points is the only hotel to sit on the wrong side of the highway.... more
