Great times were had at this unique hotel. From the English architecture to the wonderful service of Julie (Julia?) and all the servers in the pub it exceeded expectations. The room was spotless and the bed was like a cloud! A couple hiccups with our meal but the friendly and enthusiastic service more than made up for that. Would love... More

Excellent place to stay in the mountains! Clean, well priced, quiet & loved the tea & cookies upon arrival. The pub had Great salads, so don't assume they only had fried food. The staff was very good with their service.

This inn has become our go-to spot for a break. Quaint, clean and comfortable rooms (suites), well decorated and quiet - other than the trains going by regularly. The pub is a great place to eat - the best fish and chips I have eaten. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. Killer breakfasts! If you go once, you will... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in one of the Victoria rooms, tastefully decorated, with lofty ceilings, jetted tub for two and a king-size bed. The staff was pleasant and helpful, even ensuring champagne glasses were chilled prior to our arrival. We highly recommend this inn for warmth and comfort and will definitely find our way back for another stay!

There for a scrapbooking retreat. We booked late so ended up 2 of us in a room with only one bed. When we arrived we had been upgraded to a suite by surprise which was fantastic. Service was great, staff were wonderful, food is fantastic. Only suggestion is for new carpeting, looks dirty & old and consideration to new heating/cooling... More

Cozy. I wonder what chance meeting inspired this word to skate over from the Norwegian "kos seg' and cuddlle down at the hearth of 18th century Scots, where it felt so comfy, it decided to stay and change its name to "colsie.'\" Could it have been an invitation from one trader to another to enjoy the refuge of a sod-roofed... We absolutely LOVED the atmosphere of this inn! Very cosy feel to it. The restaurant/bar had a wonderful warm fire that took the chill away. Friendly staff. Not a big inn, which was nice. The elevator was something out of the past! You have to physically close the door, and had to hold the button in order to reach the... More

A very comfy "homey" inn. Beautifully decorated, relaxing, very clean, friendly, quiet. Food was delicious and staff were great. Would defiantly stay again. Loved the whole Victorian "old time" theme of hotel and resturant.

My fiancée and I stayed here in September 2013. We were really impressed with the service of the staff and the unique decorating design of the rooms. Our room had an antique feel to it. There were small tea cups and other antiques scattered throughout the room. These small details were not only seen throughout the rooms, but throughout the... More

We stayed in the Victoria Room with a jetted tub and amazing king size bed. Very Romantic ! There was cookies and tea and coffee when we arrived. We had to meet security to get our room as we arrived late but it was very straight forward. The bathroom was small but the jetted tub was amazing. We had breakfast... More
