The Lady MacDonald has everything that you would expect from a B & B. The owners were patient and helpful in this lovely charming two storey house with its wide staircase leading to the upper floor. The pictures hanging on the walls, the wood furniture and the other details gave it a personal touch. Tea, coffee, pistachios nuts and brownies... More

We stayed one week with Peter and Tammy, the owners of the Inn, and this was a completely great experience. Peter was always friendly, helpful, present, and a source of great knowledge as to where to go and what to do in the area (which was spectacular). Tammy was just as friendly, and a gourmet baker/cook too, and the breakfasts... More

Stayed here May 2014 in 'Three Sisters Room' , this room is very comfortable with stunning views. Has a double bath with jacuzzi! Fridge and log effect gas fire. Peter our host is very attentive and good sense of humour. Breakfasts were different every morning (stayed 6 nights) and were a very high standard and plenty to eat. Also complimentary... More

What a delightful and charming experience, so much more intimate and relaxed than your average hotel options, the personal gourmet touch that the owners take pride in providing wonderful breakfasts make you feel so special, the owners are so accommodating and relaxed, making it such a laid back user friendly environment, we felt like we were in a familiar place... We stayed here over a Saturday as a family and received pretty great service. The location is a quick walk from the main part of Canmore. We will be coming back for another stay due to the great value offered here

The description of this accommodation looks amazing BUT don't be fooled , main road a few metres from the bedrooms , train noise all night and uncomfortable beds . Our bedroom was up two flights of stairs ( which wasn't mentioned in the description of accommodation ) the tv was on top of the wood heater which would have made... More

A friendly and affordable place to stay while visiting nearby Banff or just passing through. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. You are located not to far from the railroad which runs through town, so if occasional noise might be an issue for you, either use the provided earplugs, or ask for a room on the side... More

We stopped here 2 nights. We stayed in the 3 sisters room which was the best of the rooms. It is very spacious with a sofa, 2 chairs, an attractive cast iron stove/heater which was gas fuelled and a fridge as well as the usual bedroom furniture. Our bed was very spacious and comfy. It has been unseasonably hot in... More

We have spent some nights in this wonderful hotel. The rooms have all different decoration and are very charming. The breakfast is just a dream and Peter a great help for everything you need to know about Canmore. Even if the train is sometimes a little bit noisy, I can definitely recommend this wonderful hotel. And do not forget to... More

We stayed one night in the Rundle room located on the main floor. When I first arrived the innkeeper brewed a fresh pot of coffee and had a delicious homemade chocolate cake to welcome me. It was the perfect treat after a full day of hiking! Our room was basic but very nice. It had everything we needed including a... More
