We were looking for a reasonably priced ($100-$150) room that was clean and safe. That is exactly what we got. The Bow Valley Motel is easy access from Hwy. 1 and extremely clean with standard motel furnishings. Our room had a kitchenette with electric stove, small fridge and small table. more

Okay, maybe this isn't the swankiest place you'll ever stay, but for our needs it was ideal. The surrounding mountains provide a great view, there's a walking path along the river one minute away, and all the charms of downtown Canmore are right there at your doorstep.
