Hey, just driving from YYC to Canmore was a treat in itself. Little did I know I would have such an easy time in Canmore. The Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge definitely helped. First off, the lodge is super easy to find, even if you are distracted by the beautiful mountains. I get the impression that the front desk seems to... More

We stayed there for 2 nights, it was good but no breakfast is offered. We took a family apartment and since it was warm we opened the window but it was noisy as it was close to rail track and the main road. There were cow webs on the lamps on the loft bedroom. It is not a trendy place.... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in August 2014. On checking in the front desk lady was very friendly and informative regarding what to see and do in the area, and how to get there. We stayed in a loft apartment which had one and half baths; the loft overlooking the lounge area had the half bath, (toilet and wash-hand basin).... More

We were very impressed with our stay at this property, which is only for 1 night. When we were planning our trip and looking for accommodations in Canmore, it was thanks to Trip Advisor that we booked here. The reviews were positive and we're pleased to add to the positive comments. It's a great location...mountain views from the window, and... More

I stayed here 3 nights as part of a tour of Canada. It was well located with some nice restaurants nearby, although it was 15 minutes to walk to downtown. It was clean and had a separate kitchenette. I would recommend staying here as it's convenient for Banff National Park and Lake Louise if you have a car.

My husband and I booked here as a less expensive alternative to staying in Banff for the weekend (we were out from Calgary for a cycling race). We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of our room. The resort is older but our room had been completely updated (new toilet, bathtub/shower, mini-fridge, carpet, etc). We stayed in a basic room... More

On our recent family trip to Alberta, we stayed at numerous motels/ hotels, and Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge, ended up being my favorite. We arrived much earlier than when check in started, but they allowed us to check in anyways, we only had to wait a few moments, while they finished our room, and we were offered a coffee while... For an older motel , Rocky Mountain was perfect. The staff were friendly, beds comfy, location perfect, easy to find and the view of the "Three Sisters" perfect !!!!!!!!!! And the price was extremely good.

Free upgrade, fabulous service, complimentary coffee and newspapers, great facilities both in the chalet and outside. Needs a little touch up but loved our stay here and would definitely recommend. Can't go wrong for the price.

If fancy is not what you need...this is for sure a great choice for a budget hotel. Good location and central to almost everything in Canmore, clean and friendly staff, but very basic, not trendy. Older buildings so do not expect much sound proofing.
