This is a great location with a wonderful view of the snow-capped peaks. **Unusually this member of the Choice Hotels chain does NOT include complimentary breakfast. ** We went for dinner (on-site) at 5:50 only to find that the Restaurant was completely closed at 6pm for a private function. The hotel management thought that guests could still eat there in... More

This was a return visit to the hotel. Good value when booking ahead more than two weeks & booking directly with hotel online. Rooms are perhaps a little dated but clean & comfortable. We did not buy breakfast here this time but opted to go to a restaurant in town. The hotel restaurant is closed on Monday nights so we... More

Stayed in a loft suite during Spring break. Room was clean and quite large with a homey feel to it. Upstairs had king bed but only a pull out on main level (fine for kids) Nice little kitchen area (fridge/micro/toaster & sink) with a table & chairs - convenient for snacking or playing games. The room had a gas fireplace... More

Booked on the road through Expedia. Rate was good enough after long drive. Fitness room was cramped. I jabbed my eye on a piece of equipment that was sticking out. Breakfast was fine, but zero service.

We stayed four nights at the Chateau, not our first stay, and as usual found it a very comfy place. The room was always cleaned in good time and the staff was very friendly. There is a bedroom and a sitting room with a kitchenette, which we used and had breakfast in the suite every day. We asked for a... More

I loved the loft style layout because it felt more like a home than a cramped hotel room... But thats all. Our room was FREEZING, the microwave took 3-4 min to heat up a single mug of water, there was a kitchenette sink but no soap or sponge to clean our dishes. We wanted to leave early for ski hill... This was our second time staying at the Chateau and we were very happy with our stay. The room was clean, the staff friendly and the price was right! As the hotel was not very busy we enjoyed making use of the gym (lacking a little when it comes to different pieces of equipment but still very functional) and the... More

Stayed in a suite in this hotel for two nights. Front entrance was cozy and friendly check- in. It is an older place but the room set up worked well for my husband and our two older kids. We had two twin beds and a pull out couch with a fridge , microwave and sink. There was no cutlery but... More

Stayed here Feb 10& 11, and turned out to be a pretty good experience. Booked a double bed suite and were put on the second floor. The room was clean, and aside from the train going thru every now and then, was quiet too. For $80 a night, I thought it was a good deal.

We stayed here when we went boarding in Banff, the rooms are nice, the hotel staff was nice. There hot tub, pool area was clean when we were there. The only issue I found while staying with the hotel was they provide you with complmentary breakfast but yet when there were two different groups of us approx. 10-15 people all... More
