Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for two night (suprise on the final bill it said three, big discussion with the rude manager). The rooms are big but I think they forgot to clean the bathroom, HAIRS everywhere! If you have a mountainside room, you'll have a train basically going through your room every hour, starting at 6... This hotel is not high end, but very comfortable. As we don't spend alot in the room, just basically to sleep, We thought it was great. I had 2 of the best sleeps in a long time here. The beds are comfortable and there's lots of pillows. A fridge and a microwave make hotel stays easier. We stayed August 10-12 .We... More

Lobby and exterior very nice. rooms a bit dated but basically clean and comfortable. ours came with a mini living room - so we had 2 TVs which made it nice given we were travelling with our 2 kids. Room had very high ceilings with a very good view. It also had a window that opened to the outside. Weather... More

Yes this Hotel is one of the lower priced, you get what you pay for! The exterior and lobby gives the impression that you are statying at a very nice establishment. However the rooms have not been updated since the late 80's and appear tired. The service in the hotel is questionable, the staff from the manager down appear disinterested... More

We stayed here for 2 nights using Choice Hotels points. In summary, it was a good choice for free nights with points, but I wouldn't have felt so happy if I had to pay the going rate for the room. As I said in the title; OK, but not great. (At the bottom of this review is an important comment... More

We actually left the Rundle Ridge Cabins after a terrible experience there and headed to this chateau in the hope of finding a reprieve - we found it! The hotel was comfortable and cosy and well appointed. We had a road facing room and did not hear the trains going by at night. All facilities were catered for and we... More

If for every week that went by that this hotel did not do any major cleaning or maintenance they reduced their price by 1% we would all be staying free. It's tired, the beds are worn out, the desk clerk looked like he woke up on the floor minutes before his shift started and didn't have time to change his... More

We had a great room. Nice big living area had a sofa, service bar with microwave, refrigerator and sink, and a loft bedroom with a king bed and second TV. Unfortunately the hotel is built right alongside active railroad tracks and the trains do run at night! Service was not the greatest. We left at 7:00 AM to spend the... More

Stayed here starting 6-25-12 for several nights. The hotel is in a great location right off Highway 1. The lobby is very nice and tastefully decorated and the staff very friendly and helpful. You park behind the hotel. There is also a train track running behind the hotel as others have noted but our room faced the front and we... More

Positives: Very comfy beds, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, complete work-out room/equipment, business center with computer and printer available, individual climate controlled rooms, good morning coffee, friendly hotel staff. Negatives: Only one elevator for a 5 floor hotel, no complimentary breakfast included in the hotel rate but there is a restaraunt on-site for made to order breakfast, a single ice-machine on...
