Stayed for 4 days as part of a conference at the hotel. Canmore is a great place just outside of the Banff National Park area. Hotel is a moderate (5-10 min) walk to the downtown, and has a good steakhouse and a very nice (and underused) pool and hot tub. Rooms were relatively dated by contemporary upscale hotel standards (there... more

This hotel does not deserve many of the bad reviews that have been posted here. I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and were overall well done. The hotel is located only two blocks from a busy train corridor but I rarely heard the trains as the passed through the town. Others complained... more

Unfortunately, the hotel that is located in Canmore and it of the Radisson chain, is not like other Radissons that I have stayed. First off, the rooms are not well kept, housekeeping is abyssmal and you can clearly hear the next guest in their room (embarrassing to say the least). The staff is nice and trys to help but I... more

I've just recently returned from a trip in the rockies and I thought I'd check out the Radisson's review's online. I really question the expectations of my fellow reviewers. Can you really blame the hotel for the noise caused by a train? I have stayed at this property a handful of times over the last 3 years and I have... more

A friend and I stayed here to go skiing at Lake Louise. We booked late the day before and got a good price using Priceline. The place was conveniently located and easy to find. We were assigned one of the rooms in the detached part of the hotel. The first room we went into looked decent until we turned back... more

My husban and I checked in on a Thursday, to a very nice and helpful staff. We went to our room which looked clean. I then checked the coffee maker to find it was dirty. On our way out to go sightseeing we told front desk about it. They sent housekeeping up to clean it. Later on that night when... more

My experiences with the Radisson are limited to their Alberta properties Calgary, Edmonton and Canmore. The Canmore property is very poor in all respects. I have stayed twice in the past year both times in November and found the problems remained the same. The room assigned was second floor overtop of the conference center resulting in a small window and... more

This weekend stay was a result of my wife "winning" a prize at a staff function. I couldn't help but think of the movie "Fargo" and the restaurant scene ("it's a Radisson, so it's pretty good" - stated using wonderful Minnesota Nice). Whatever; the hotel looks somewhat dated and it is slated for renovations and ,yes, they are sorely needed.... more

The hotel had limited rooms available, so we were placed in the "detachted rooms" which are located behind the actual Radisson hotel. The room smelled like mold; the bed looked like someone had slept in it already; there were bugs in the bathroom and the bed was like a rock. I work in the hotel industry, and granted it's not... more

Even though I read all the reviews here, I decided to risk using my Radisson points and booking here. I was given a 2nd floor room in the main building. Fabulous views. Comfy duvet on the king bed. Large desk. One upholstered chair with footstool that just barely fits in the room. So yes, the room looked as pictured on... more
