5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

When I arrived in Canmore at 10:45pm, I was elated! This was my only vacation this year (2 days) and it was going to be awesome! Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding (on my part as well as theirs), the motel I had booked had sold my room and was rather rude about it! In Canmore, Long Weekend, 11:00 at night... More

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at the Econo Lodge in Canmore in August. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with ample room for 4 adults in a 2 queen bed room. The staff on the front desk are friendly and very helpful they also give you complimentary passes to Banff National Park. Breakfast is... More

We stayed here as an affordable location near Kananaskis Country. It's even closer to Banff and the lakes up there. It's a nice Econo Lodge - kept up well, clean, off on a side service road, with helpful front desk staff. When we were there, folks were given complimentary passes to the Canadian Parks - a nice touch. Our room... More

I have stayed in Econo Lodges before, and this by the best of those. Room was clean and neat, and bed very comfortable. The bedding was like new. Breakfast was the usual variety, however the staff very accommodating

Stayed three nights and were very satisfied. Warm welcome at front desk with helpful info on local area offered without asking. Free pass to Banff national park included. Daily continental breakfast had good choices and good quality food. Full breakfast for $6 more was an option, but we were good with the continental one. Our room was clean, comfortable and... More

My mother always told my not to use all capitals as it was considered yelling. Well sometimes you just have to use it to get a point across. A great little budget hotel, not expecting much but for the dollars spent it was reasonable. This is an economy hotel but it is clean and reasonable, I do not remember an... More

Great hotel in the heart of Canmore. I wasn't expecting much but wow what a view from the room. Called ahead and asked for a second floor room with a view and that is exactly what I got! Front desk staff are friendly. No elevator but a few stairs is worth it to have a quiet night's sleep. There are... More

What a nice budget hotel and wow, what a mountain view! Last minute find and we were thoroughly pleased. Very nice decor in 2 queen room, fireplace, fridge, micro, WiFi, Jacuzzi tub and spectacular mountain view!! A/C worked great. Close to all the interestingly shops and restaurants downtown. Friendly front desk clerks. Recommend!!

The room we had was very nice. I was disappointed in a couple of things. One we booked this room at least three months in advance yet we were given a room on the second floor viewing people's backyard. Either give us a room at the front with a real view or place us on the first floor. Which was... More
