We stayed in a very clean kitchenette suite that had one queen bed and one pull out sofa bed. The kitchenette consisted of a microwave, toaster, a two burner stove, mini fridge, and sink. Cutlery, cups, dishes, knives, spatula, cutting board, wash cloth and dish clothe were also supplied. If you make use of the kitchen, groceries are conveniently near... More

The Econo Lodge was quiet and the rooms were clean. The hotel was only 10 minutes from Banff. The bed was particularly comfy. The WiFi was horribly slow to the point of being unusable in our rooms, though when we got desperate we could go to the lobby where it seemed a bit better. We ate breakfast in the restaurant... More

Good and reasonably priced hotel, Clean. Staff excellent. Nice continental breakfast. Have stayed here twice, once in the winter then again in the summer with another coupe from Ontario, doing the tour.

I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Canmore for 4 days in September and was pleased with the accommodations. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. A great pizza place (Boston Pizza) was directly across the street and fantastic East Indian restaurant (Spice Hut) was only a short walk. The view from the lodge was spectacular... More

This was a great 3 day stay for us. Loved the little town of Canmore - good restaurants, fun little downtown area, close to grocery stores, etc. Easy drive to Banff, the icefields, and the surrounding parks and lakes. Very comfortable and clean room and a wonderful accommodating and helpful staff! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a clean, solid hotel with free continental breakfast. From the hotel, it is about a 10 minute walk to Safeway, Save-On, Canadian Tire, liquor stores, a few restaurants etc., and another 10 minutes to downtown. You will hear highway and railway noise but that is hard to avoid in Canmore hotels.

We travelled to Canmore to get married and have our honeymoon and we stayed here as a base to travel throughout banff and the park.We stayed for two separate stays within a 10 day period, the first one being a five night stay. The staff here are unbelievable and go above and beyond in customer service. Especially Jason and Mila.... More

This was booked because I didn't do enough research and had originally book a Comfort Inn in Calgary which was too far from our destination. Carmella at the Comfort Inn in Calgary was great and let us cancel our reservation and book the Econo Lodge in Canmore as it is the same hotel chain. Since I had not done any... More

Our room as a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Good digital TV with a wide selection of channels including radio. Free, fast, Wi-Fi. Breakfast was just OK. This place is just fine for a stopover en- route to the Banff/Jasper parks and a lot cheaper than staying in Banff, just a short drive away.
