Stayed there for 3 nights in April in a 2nd floor room. Had a great view out our room / balcony. The rates are amazing for the Canmore / Banff area. Only issue was the poor wifi connection. Breakfast was a nice addition although it is quite basic. Fireplace was another nice touch. Can understand why the EconoLodge rates so... More

My wife and I have just returned home from a wonderful 3 day stay in Canmore and would like to thank the fine staff at the Econo Lodge Canmore for making it the memorable visit that it was. The hotel accommodation was great but better yet was the friendly and accommodating assistance from its fine staff. Any request was handled... More

We used this hotel as a mid point stopover on our vacation. The check in was fine and our room was very comfortable. It had a fireplace and a fairly roomy bathroom. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast, however, was a big disappointment. The room was very small and the seating capacity was limited. While... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review The Econolodge Canmore. We are glad you enjoyed your room - the past 12 months have been filled with updates; new carpets, new decks, new HD televisions, new Keurig coffee makers and a new bedding package. Rest assured we aren't stopping there, we have heard the calls for a more... More

I stayed here a few times this past year and I look forward to the next time. They always let me check in a few hours early with no issues. Efficient and friendly check in and check out. Breakfast is included with the room, but we always end up at Chez Francois (attached to hotel) for a superb breakfast with... More

We spent a night here with family April5 and the rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet-the hotel was fully booked that night and we had a very restful night. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard for a Choice hotel but the hard boiled eggs were a welcome change from the tasteless cardboard scrambled variety usually found in this standard of... More

This is an above average Econo Lodge as far as the appearance of the hotel and rooms, nice location easy check in with very customer orientated, price point was good. We had pets and the hotel was very accommodating and we really appreciated that fact thank you. Room was large and well appointed with good pillows and bed, but they... More

Come for the rooms and deals. 2nd story rooms are large, have balconies with mountain view (above a busy road) electric fireplaces, nozzled-bathtubs, firm mattresses, and fast wifi. Price is a winner, but walls are thin, fiberglass tubs creaky, free breakfast mighty simple, hallways and stairway drab and dark, and exterior and parking area holed and rocky from being neglected... Pretty good hotel. Girlfriend and I checked in on Sat 29/03 for the night . I as a hotel manager myself can be very critical of other hotels. This hotel was well kept . the only down side was that the bedding was on back to front and a couple of the tiles in the washroom were loose and falling... More

Over the years we have stayed at various hotels in Canmore, but of a short break we picked the Econo Lodge, the mid-week rate was too good a deal to turn down. They even offered a day pass for Banff National Park, which is really a 2 day pass, but you have to leave the park by 4 pm on... More

We always stay in the Econo Lodge whenever we are in Canmore, and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are beautiful, with jet tubs and a fireplace, and the staff are professional, helpful, and friendly. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!
