My husband, mom and I were on our way home from a trip through bc and we decided to stop in canmore for the night and we found this hotel online reasonably priced so we booked it. Well we got to the hotel and the sign was burnt out, whatever no big deal it happens. We checked in and we... More

Spent 10 nights at Rundle Mtn Lodge. The room was quite small, however adequate as I was by myself. Smelled a little musty, I think because it was right beside the car park and hard to dry out as snow was walked inside. There were no kitchen facilities such as a toaster, plates, cutlery, stove or microwave. Only convenience was a... More

Stayed here last week in the Jacuzzi suite and couldn't have been happier. The room was clean and everything we could have wanted. The rates were incredible. Dave at the front desk was really friendly. The entire property is really cozy, can't wait to try out one of the cabins as well as the fire pit and bbq area! Fantastic... More

My mom booked this hotel to stay on my birthday. The room was clean, but had a strange smell to it. As well, the furniture was quite old (ie. When I sat on the couch I sunk right down). The vending machine only had a few granola bars in it, which was quite disappointing. The pool was very run down... More

Have stayed here twice so far. The first time got a cheaper room and it was definitely what we paid for. Smaller room, older tv, heater in the bathroom. However, we are well aware that we could have paid double in Canmore or Banff for the same thing. Second time we 'splurged' a bit on a suite. We were very... More

At first glance the room is fantastic for the price. As you settle in you start to notice all the little things that have been neglected over the years. This place is definitely cute but really needs to be remodelled in order to attract and keep guests. Our room had a gas furnace which sometimes sounded like it was exploding... More

We visited here ten years ago on our first trip to Canada, we thought we would give it a go after living in Calgary for the past eight years and remembering what a great time we had. We arrived on Friday night for two nights, we were given the keys to a cedar log cabin, when we entered the cabin... More

My husband and I were in town for a wedding over the weekend and got a room at the rundle lodge. It was pretty awful. When we first walked in the door we noticed a funny smell, I thought it smelled of gas and my husband thought it smelled of cat pee. Either way it was not pleasant. There were... More

This spot should be seen as rustic and charm-filled. Instead, it is tired, neglected and in a sad state of disrepair. Upon check-in, we found that one of the room's two electric radiators was broken and the window was broken (stuck open when the temperature would be dipping below zero overnight). We only asked for a room change an hour... More
