We spent four days in the grey cabin. Lots of snow still on the ground when we arrived, although the melt started during the second day of our stay. The views of the mountains above the trees is spectacular… The cabin itself is roomy and very comfortable. If you want absolute peace and quiet and exceptionally comfortable accommodation - at... My fiance and I stayed here for one night in July 2013 during our trip. It was absolutely spectacular- heaven on earth! We stayed in a teepee by the river: they are wonderfully appointed with a very comfortable Queen bed, down duvet and a stove. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic as well (I believe it was $8 extra?). We... More

I would just totally agree with the previous guests. Upon arrival we were so happy to see a cozy room with the fire going and the place was clean as a whistle. They do a wonderful job keeping the place in great shape. My husband and I stayed for the weekend and we wish we had longer although the owner... More

*Please note: We have provided this same review on Google.* My partner and I stayed in the grey cabin at Old Entrance for two nights in November 2013. We loved the spot, and are hoping to go back again soon. The things we loved about it were: -the coziness: the gas fireplace, wood-burning fireplace, and 2-person lounge chair set the... More

We stayed in the lodge over Christmas - 6 nights! It was great...only a few small suggestions: it would have been very nice to have had coffee/tea packets available for early morning or late night cuppa's (breakfast is not included or offered in the winter time). It also would have been nice to have had our towels exchanged without our... More

We spent 4 nights in tepee 1 in mid September. Neither my partner or myself are campers & we were a bit worried prior to arriving how we would manage but we were more than pleasantly surprised! The location of the tepee was idyllic on the banks of the Athabasca river I can't even describe how beautiful it is there.... More

We found this wonderful gem by chance several years ago and have made it a destination ever since. Mary and Carol are so welcoming and made us feel like family since the first visit. We started out in the Brown Cabin and soon after, considered it 'ours'. We have also camped in a teepee just for the fun of it... More

Of all the overpriced places to stay in Jasper National Park, why wouldn't anyone opt for this little gem just outside of the park in Hinton instead. With all the best intentions of exploring the park, in the end, we did nothing but drive through the park than settle in for 2 days of bliss at the Old Entrance Cabins... More

Me and my boyfriend spent 2 night in the teepee#1 while we were traveling in Jasper, a little far drive from jasper but the worth it, we also did the trail ride, it was great. They have share washroom and shower for you, camping style that you don't need to pack the tent, we brought our own bedding tho but... More

The peaceful sound of the river, the friendly owners and guests and the beautiful scenic views made me forget about the crazy daily grind of work, bills, and traffic. I regained some much needed strength and mental health so I can continue moving forward in this crazy thing called life. Thank you Carol and Mary!!! Your place is outstanding!!!
