We booked out trip just a couple days in advance and they were great in accommodating us. They were inxredibly friendly and patient. My husband is a little on the large side at 6'3" and 280 lbs they found the perfect horse for him. We took the 2 hour trip for the perfect Athabasca River view. They even gave our... More

We just got back from a 3night, family vacation at Old Entrance B&B after our "usual spot" in Jasper was booked up. We sure are glad it was, because this place captured our hearts and will be our go-to when visiting the Rockies. We were in the Grey Cabin, which suited our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids... More

My girlfriend and I visited Carol & Mary's great cabin accommodations in the off-season, and it was a great time. Carol & Mary do a great job of making sure you have what you need, but leaving you to enjoy your own private time. We were in the grey cabin, which was well-appointed, quaint, and comfortable. We cooked our own... More

We arrived when the owners were out, but there was a nice note of welcome along with the key. We were staying in the owners home, so we made ourselves at home. This is a nice bright suite with lots of Windows overlooking the grounds and down to the Athabaska River. It has painted concrete floors with underfloor heating. Our... More

We've been coming here once or twice a year for the last 6 years. Always a lovely experience! The trail rides are exciting and the scenery is beautiful. Hosts Mary and Carol have a paradise only 3 hours from Edmonton. It is my retreat away from the busy-ness of life.

This place is perfect. We stayed in a little on bedroom cabin. There were horses free to wander, grooming the grounds. Lovely view of the river & mule deer wandering the back woods. Fire pit for quiet evenings.

We woke up to a herd of deer outside our teepee and fell asleep to the sound of wolves howling at the moon. I don't think I've ever seen so many stars. If you want to get some serious relaxing done, old entrance b&b is where you should go. We stayed in a teepee, where an old wood stove kept... More

Our family of four had two nights in a teepee on the banks of the Athabasca River, with breakfast in the main house and a trail ride along the river. Everything was just fantastic. Travelling from the UK and visiting the 'must-do' Rockies, it was just so good to spend a couple of days off the beaten track in such... More

Had a lovely two nights here, stayed in the Rustic Ridge Cabin, basic but in a great location, private and quiet with a lovely outlook over the river and plentiful wildlife, birds and squirrels to watch while enjoying a crisp white after a day hiking the local trails. Shared showers and a private five star outhouse, coming from the Australian... More

Put this on your list of "to do" stuff for holidays. We stayed in a teepee and had a fantastic time. The whole place is a real gem and it is well worth a visit. Situated right on the Athabasca river we were fishing every day followed by a nap in the hammock. The hosts were great and made us... More
