Pros: The beds were comfortable, the shower was good. The room was very clean. Had continental breakfast with waffles (pre-made for toasting). Staff was very friendly. Located right off the highway in Hinton, Alberta, which is right outside of Jasper National Park. Cons: Not enough electrical outlets for all our electronics. The free Wi-fi was very slow.

We were able to get one of their last rooms on short notice. The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Good location on the west end of town. Close to food and shopping. Room is very clean. Highway a bit noisy but you get used to it after a while. Suggest booking a room on the... More

First I would like to state that the hotel has excellent front desk staff, and my room was always clean. The hotel itself is well kept as are the grounds. My major problem with this hotel is that the whole 3rd floor is smoking. Yeah smoking. You read that right. In this day in age with smoking being banned in... More

I book four rooms and cancelled them 48 hours before the booked date. I hotel still charged me 3 rooms, because, according to their maneger, I only cancelled one room. I recieved only one confirmation number when the rooms are booked and one cancellation number when they are cancelled, but the manager kept saying there should be four confirmation number... More

Stayed one night passing through to Jasper. Had a suite with 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were basic but comfortable. AC worked great. Breakfast was very basic, nothing special. I used the coin laundry which worked fine. Overall, a good value for a quick stay.

We tried a couple of other places with decent ratings after 5 that were booked so wound up here. $130 plus tax for decent double queen room was okay. Room was comfortable and clean at price. We had a room at back and noise was no issue. Breakfast was very basic continental. We were told on entry that hot tub... More

This is our second stay at the Hinton Lodge. The hotel was built within the last few years so it is modern and still very clean. They offer everything that the chains offer, and at a lower price. With our CAA discount, the room was under 120 dollars and it was a king suite. It is conveniently located along highway... More

Rolled in yesterday without a reservation. Front desk staff was friendly and we were quickly checked in. Arriving at our room it seemed the A/C wasn't working properly. Again, front desk staff swung into action and after a quick check of the A/C, cheerfully moved us to a different room. Beds were comfortable, road noise minimal, so we slept well.... More

We chose to stay in Hinton which is about an hours drive from Jasper as prices much more reasonable. Hotel was easy to find, reception OK. We ha "splashed out" on a room with Jacuzzi which worked well. The room had everything we needed including a microwave. There was some noise during the night from trains on the nearby railway....
