I booked for a month at the Alpine. I paid $400 out of the $1250 for the month (to try it out). Thank god I didn't pay more. Our room (29) ridden with bed bugs. He moved us into a recently fumigated room afterwards (34) and we became ill from lingering poison. We were finally moved to room 31 which... More

This is the scariest hotel I've ever stayed in! I am a budget traveler with very low standards and all I could do was laugh when I entered the room. The air was incredibly stale and it smelled awful. I didn't even shower because the shower smelled like a homeless man. Bed was gross, curtains were faded and ripped and... More

Place is not the newest on the block .Room was better than we thought it would be after pulling up. Young girl at the desk was friendly. Small continental breakfast . Toast , cereal and some fruit. Our 1 night was somewhat quite as we could hear some talking out in the parking lot at 3am. It's a cheap stay... More

Old room with a 5 gallon overhaul job and top price also, 4 days later stayed at the Best Western Regency across the intersection for the same dollars, the Best Western was a Day& Night contrast to the Alpine.

Pros: pet friendly (we were pleased to bring our non-barking/house trained dogs), crispy clean linens, budget, pool water was very clean. We felt safe here only because we were with our german shepherd.. Cons: Customers included loud parying bikers, prostitutes, drugs, slimy pool deck. I was scared to put my bare feet on the pool deck as it was filthy.... More

The room was clean and bed was OK well mine was, had son in another room and his bed was bad. I now know never to go to a motel that is pet friendly! Dogs barking all night, tenants screaming to shut them up and car alarms going of!, dogs probably jumping on them! Oh yes they had empty cooler... More

First of all, the hotel manager doesnt get anyone to clean the room when you leave for the day. He is about the rudest manager i have ever talked to, doesnt even try to help accomodate you. Dont bother asking for clean blankets, you will only be shut down and told "NO". If you ask for clean towels he will... More

Rooms need to be updated. Fairly clean but I wouldn't walk around in bare feet... Okay for one night traveling through but would probably stay at the Best Western across the street for about $10 more next time. Didn't have the free bfast or use the pool so can't comment on these.

It was after 8:00PM when I arrived in Abbotsford and I was really tired after a long drive. I had already checked out the larger motels close to the highway and was unimpressed with their closeness to the Trans Canada Highway and the price as I was only planning to stop for a few hours sleep. The gentleman on reception... More

This motel was very clean, but had some serious lapses in the plumbing department. The toilet rocked and the shower head was broken and sprayed all over. The swimming pool area is sadly lacking in maintenance although the water looked pretty clean. The water was absolutely freezing in the main pool and warmer in the hot tub, but definately not...
