My partner and I spent a weekend (October 2014) in Osoyoos to look at real estate. Since we weren't on vacation, we shopped accomodation for price and decided on Destiny Beach Resort. We chose a studio room, which provided us with a full kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a futon and tv in the livingroom. Although nothing matched, the room... More

Clean, quiet, nice beach, nice pool, rooms with full kitchen. The best place to be after an intense wine tasting day. Affordable. Air Conditioning could maybe be updated. Close to wineries and downtown Osoyoos. Beautiful view. We will come back.

We stayed here on our way through from Vancouver to Kelowna, a great stop off. A beautiful location, just on the edge of the lake, I had a refreshing dip in the lake before using the BBQ facilities. Room fine and clean.

This property reminded us of going for summer vacation to our family's cabin in the lake country of southern Ontario. It is an older facility, with quirky mixes of appliances, beds, fixtures and so on. It is also in an odd location, a residential lakeside area of Osoyoos. That said, we really enjoyed it here. The managers' were very friendly,... More

I made a reservation through Hotel.com on March 23 for May 14. Since, my plans have changed and I had to cancel. The date for free cancellation on my reservation was May 11, and I cancelled way ahead of that date. Destiny Beach Resort took a full payment on my Master Card on the date that I booked with Hotel.com.... More

It seems the custom in Osoyoos is for every Hotel, Inn, and B&B to name themselves a 'resort'. If the image you have is of modern amenities, room service, beach waiters, and MaiTais - then you are likely to be disappointed. What Destiny Beach is: A very reasonably priced lakefront motel, very dated 25-30 year old mismatched decor, spotty wifi-if... More

We stayed here for two nights. The place we had overlooked the water from the top floor. Great space, kitchen, lots of space, two couches, good bed. It was off season, so very quiet and there were no kids running around. There was a pool, but closed for the winter. I think this place is a kid place for summer,... More

Mid-August I booked a 7 night stay for the first week in September, but a week after making the reservation my husband found out he couldn't take the whole week off and had to be back at the office. This was a week prior to our departure for Osoyoos, so I called the hotel and told Monica (the office manager)... More

...is how I would describe this motel. The owners were very friendly and pleasant. I loved the "towel exchange" program but wish it was at any hour instead of just between 10am and 2pm since were were not always around at that time. This is a family oriented motel; pool closed at 9pm so no rowdiness which was appreciated since... More

This resort is perfect if you like being on the beach, meeting other people and being close to wineries. I stayed here at the end of July with my disabled husband. Chris, the owner was very helpful as were many of the people staying here. The decor isn't luxurious but everything is clean and very well maintained. Everyone staying here... More
