It was our 4th time staying at the Sun Beach Motel in Osoyoos. My wife and I had our honeymoon there five years ago and come back each year. Book early because all the rooms are booked for the long weekends during the summer. One year we were late booking and had to stay elsewhere. Our two bedroom suite faced... More

We stayed four nights and had booked a room for 3. We had been told that all rooms overlooked the lake. When we arrived we were given a room at the back, facing the car park. It was small and shabby. We upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite and this was really lovely, but of course more expensive. We were... More

I would avoid this motel at all costs, and write this review as someone who has been the general manager of a respected branded hotel in the past. I planned on spending up to a month visiting Osoyoos, so checked in to this motel for a multi-week rental. All was good at first. Was required to pay a $150 deposit,... More

As with all reviews, I'd love to write a nice one to praise the excellence and efforts of the motel staff. Unfortunately, regarding this motel I cannot. The only upside to this motel is that it was situated lakefront with a beautiful view, and a dock. However, the motel is very expensive for how old and cheap looking it is.... More

Very excited when we showed up to the motel as it is in a great location and the hotel is older but the beach was nice and set up very quaint. We went with a cheaper place as we were adventuring around osoyoos and surrounding areas. After an evening in penticton and the following morning left early for breakfast and... More

To the complainers: It's not a Best Western so if you were looking for that then pay the Best Western prices and go across the street. Stayed there with our two kids - front staff is nice. Room was decent - clean and comfortable but a little small and plain (cinder block walls). Bathroom was recently updated. The view from... More

Sun Beach Motel could be a nice motel if the owners put some time and money into it. Some of the rooms have been renovated, ours wasn't. Here's a list of problems with the motel in general. 1. The stairs on the corner of the hotel tilt at an angle and appear to be unsafe. 2. The picnic tables in... More

We stayed at this motel for 3 days. The motel looks run down and the rooms are old and out dated. The first night was ok with not to much noise but the next couple of nights where horrible. The motel turned into party central. Kids running and screaming up and down the halls till 1am, adults yelling and screaming... More

This is an older, reasonably maintained small property with a great waterfront location away from the crowds on the other side of the main street/strip. A good value with the right expectations. Several rooms are newly-renovated apartment style, and some are older humbler vintage style. (By "vintage" I don't mean trendy at all, this is by no means a boutique... More

We stayed at this motel on the insistence of my girlfriend, who stayed there with her family as a child and wanted to go back. I was pretty concerned based on the opinions I'd seen here. However, Sun Beach Motel has recently renovated all of its larger suites, and I found the suite we stayed in (2 double rooms +... More
