We were very pleased with this motel. It was quiet and our room was at the end of one wing, with a wonderful view of the lake out our windows. Clean, quiet, and a decent price. Our hostess was super-friendly. You couldn't ask for more! It served as a great base to explore the Southern Okanagan.

Stayed for a couple nights with a group of women. Rooms were nice, so was the beach. If you want to smoke on the beach, forget it, they have security checking on this even though they don't own the beach, it is Crown land. My only other complaints are that the sheets felt like sand paper and the maid cleaned... More

Stayed in this motel as a stopover on the way to Vancouver Island. The rooms were spacious, clean and welcoming with plenty of storage space. The kitchenette was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and there was a well appointed bathroom. The location provided beautiful views across the lake as well as access to the beach. This was priced right in... More

We wanted to go up and see the sights of Osoyoos and surrounds in October after all the crowds have gone home. We picked the Sandy Beach Motel as all the reviews were very good. As others have said, the accommodations were wonderful. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained, comfy beds and wonderful owners who looked after... More

Brent and Sherry have dialed in hospitality in a big way. Room was perfect #124, private, quiet and extremely modern, it was up a full flight of stairs but that's part of the adventure. Loved the tiled floors, kitchen (better than at home), bath/shower and the afternoons on the deck. Very much appreciate the welcome gift.... our re-marriage as you... More

Wish we had time to stay longer. Staff were very helpful. Facilities very clean and comfortable. Close to wineries and restaurants. Conveniently located just off the highway. Beautiful lake views and nice sandy beach.

Sandy Beach found us 8 years ago while on a road trip. We return 'home' every fall for our annual week of R&R. The Martins are the ultimate hosts and their work ethic is unparalleled. The pride they have in this unique property shines through at every turn…from the lovely gardens to the wonderful upgrades every year. The incredibley clean... More

While visiting at the lovely Moon Curser winery in Osooyoos, one of the employees suggested Sandy Beach as possible accommodations for the night. She said it was older, with good prices, but if we were just needing a bed, it would be okay. We decided to check it out. It was much more than we hoped for. Good price, beautiful... More

This is a well maintained, well equipped motel with commodious rooms, most of which are equipped with full kitchens. All rooms face the Lake and its nice beach. Although we were there for only one night, we were very impressed with the overall facilities and maintenance and feel this would be a terrific place for a family vacation or for... More

We spent 3 nights here while visiting wineries. This is a gem! We had a studio suite, second floor overlooking the lake. The suite itself was nicely done - all amenities including a kitchen with all utensils, outdoor furniture on the shared patio. Beach with lawn chairs, recliners right on the property. The owners, Sherry and Brent were so helpful.... More
