This establishment is dark, dank and sticky with lumpy, concave beds. The rooms are large and the location is good, being right on the water across from downtown Vancouver. You can take a short ride on the Seabus to the mainland but be forewarned: this hotel is quite old and worn...avoid if at all possible. The closest competition is the... More

our connection was late getting into Vancouver so we decided to make an unexpected overnight stop before going to Vancouver Island. We just picked a random hotel from the Internet, and booked somewhere close to the Ferry Service. This hotel room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Decoration was 'classic' and not entirely to my taste but that is... More

This hotel is a mixed bag. Great location above a market place and close to the Seabus and bus terminals. However, hotel needs a make over, looks a bit weary. However, rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. Entry into the accommodation is through a black fire door. The male at the counter when we checked in, didn't seem... More

I have stayed here three times now......its not the best hotel but it is certainly not the worst. More than anything it is reasonably priced ( perhaps not at peak season) , its conveniently located if you want to be in North Vancouver, and the rooms are fine....and the staff are pleasant. I love having the great little coffee shop... More

PROS: Quiet, tranquil, harbor of North Vancouver. Nice kiosk shops below hotel floors. Great Sushi within blocks of hotel! Next door to the Seabus CONS: Not a full 24 hour service hotel and not your top notch hotel. The beds aren't the best nor is the food. The parking and elevator are tricky. More like staying at an old dated... More

Our stay at this oceanfront hotel had been sublime. The staff are polite and courteous. Never hesitant to helping us improve our stay in North Vancouver. Knowledgeable about the area and the restarants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable modern facilities throughout. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants peace, aling with proximity to public transit and walking... More

We booked through a Travelzoo voucher which included a bottle of wine and chocolates, both of which were in our room upon arrival. We too had a language difficulty, when booking our stay. However, once we arrived, found the parking and got to the room we were quite happy. We had a room overlooking the Inlet and Vancouver Skyline. We... More

One night stay. Terrible directions to their parking, had to ring the front desk for instructions, and then I couldn't understand them. Its the parking for the market I discovered. Dated rooms with marks on the walls.WiFi appalling. Won't go again.

I debated between this hotel in N. Van and something downtown. The decision to go to the Londsdale was great. Just feet from the Seabus and local transit. A fresh local market downstairs, and steps from many great restaurants and shops. Will stay again.

My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for a short visit in North Vancouver and was floored by the service, hospitality, and decor at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel.
