We stayed here two weekends in a row, for two nights then one night respectively. We chose the North Vancouver Hotel for convenience, as we had events to attend very nearby. Personally, I didn't find the road noise bad at all, even though it's on a main street. Rooms were comfortable with good beds. The hotel staff were great -... More

Like a lot of hotels this is situated on a busy street so if you are sensitive to traffic noise bring some earplugs. This was just a one nighter for us but it is close enough to attractions/downtown Vancouver and the Horseshoe Bay ferry. Check-in was quick and had very pleasant staff who offered to print out directions to a... More

I tried to book into this hotel after a long hot journey. I asked for a quiet room at the end of the block. The desk clerk looked for a room but was interupted by a man who I assumed was the manager - I was told no available rooms met my request which was strange as the clerk had... More

Its hard to beleive this MOTEL can be considered as a top place to stay in North Vancouver. It is situated on Capilano Road which is a major route connecting the Upper Levels Highway with Marine Drive which leads to the LIons Gate Bridge accessing Vancouver Proper. It's not a hotel but a very dated 1960'ish MOTEL. The sofa bed... More

We stayed here for three nights and found the room very clean and comfortable. It's no Hilton or Loews hotel - think Ramada (in fact it used to be a Ramada) but hey everything worked. Front desk staff was very accommodating (except for one bloke who scolded me for not thinking ahead when I asked for change from US to... More

The first motel I have ever stayed in, and I was a little daunted at first, but the rooms were great, with lots of space and a lovely cosy little bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries - much appreciated! The staff were really helpful - offering to dispose of a broken suitcase we had been carrying and onhand with lots of... More

We stayed at the North Vancouver Hotel for two nights this past holiday season, and let me tell you, this was a great hotel. For the price I thought it was exceptional. The breakfast was warm and you got to meet/see some other travellers as well. The staff there were very courteous and helpful. The location was next to a... More

This is our second visit in two years. It is a great hotel, convenient to all locals, close to Savary Pie Shop (worth the trip to BC alone)(1533 Marine Dr.), and Vij's (also stunning for food and hospitality). Quiet hotel, close to Capilano Suspension Bridge area (also a must to go there), breakfast waffles!

We stayed for a long weekend while visiting attractions in Vancouver. It was conveniently located for tourist attractions. The room was clean. The bedding was a bit worn. Comfortable beds and pillows. The walls are on the thin side and we did hear neighbors a few times. It is close to a busy street. The breakfast was a nice bonus... More

The hotel is on a major 4 lane commute road. Noise from traffic & other guests was pretty unbearable at night (even wearing earplugs). Breakfast room was so crowded you couldn't get in. Room was not restocked with new cups daily. Staff had no clue about problems. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere.
