This is our second visit in two years. It is a great hotel, convenient to all locals, close to Savary Pie Shop (worth the trip to BC alone)(1533 Marine Dr.), and Vij's (also stunning for food and hospitality). Quiet hotel, close to Capilano Suspension Bridge area (also a must to go there), breakfast waffles! more

We stayed for a long weekend while visiting attractions in Vancouver. It was conveniently located for tourist attractions. The room was clean. The bedding was a bit worn. Comfortable beds and pillows. The walls are on the thin side and we did hear neighbors a few times. It is close to a busy street. The breakfast was a nice bonus... more

The hotel is on a major 4 lane commute road. Noise from traffic & other guests was pretty unbearable at night (even wearing earplugs). Breakfast room was so crowded you couldn't get in. Room was not restocked with new cups daily. Staff had no clue about problems. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere. more

I spent 4 nights here as a solo tourist in the Vancouver area. I got a great deal on the room (under $80/night) and it was the usual basic motel suite, quiet, clean and adequate. The only problem I had was the bathroom vent fan (which comes on with the light and can't be shut off separately) must have been... more

We went through the entire gamut of hotels in downtown Vancouver before settling for this one. Downtown hotels like Oceanside and Sylvia were tempting but at the end of the day, North Vancouver Hotel, with its free parking and breakfast, seemed to be a better value for us(I had to book two rooms since my parents were travelling with us).... more

We stayed here twice and got excellent deals through expedia. We requested a quiet room on upper floor and that's what we got. It doesn't look much but it was quiet, comfortable, the rooms reasonably spacious. Free wi-fi 10Mb/s. Air con worked well if a bit noisy. Breakfast was basic but free. OK breakfast room was very small but no... more

This "Hotel" was below our expectations. The name Hotel is misleading. It is a Motel, you acces your room from an interior court. What struck me the most was a strong smell of urine in our bathroom. In the morning we had fun watching a certain group of guests having endless rounds of waffles, bagels etc. They were still there... more

For the amount we paid for our three nights at this hotel, we could have stayed somewhere else where we would have been much happier, I will NEVER stay here again. We travelled with a 9 year old and a 13 year old and they charge $30 extra per night for teenagers, either that or they seriously overcharged me but... more

Rooms are OK. Pool and breakfast room are very small. 'Executive' breakfast is very basic and served on paper plates, plastic cutlery and styrofoam cups. Location is good and close to suspension bridge. more

We stayed here one night while on our way home from a trip south. Check in was quick and uneventful. The room is dated with some upgrades. The bed linens are newer, with a narrow runner across the bed rather than a bedspread. Unfortunately, there is only one thin blanket on the bed, so you must keep the heat on... more
