this is the place you want to spend in when you arrive in Vancouver specially if you are trying to fight jet lag. the owner, brian, will pick you up at the airport and give you a few facts around the area. he even gave tips on how to move around the city - the cheapest and easiest way. he... More

A real little piece of heaven....completely private room next to the secluded pool....'Safari Room' theme was incredible, stone walls, beautiful bed, stocked fridge, instant room temperature control...service was incredible with a brandy decanter stocked for 'lightening' our morning coffee...every detail thought of right down to the q-tips on the bathroom shelves...and then a four course breakfast meal -every part, homemade... I arrived at the B&B late on the 30th of September having spent 20 hours travelling from Ireland. Brian was outside when i arrived and helped me with my bags. I was upgraded to the safari suite as i was the only guest that night. I have to say that the suite was gorgeous. Spacious, clean and plenty of things... More

I had never stayed at a B&B and thought I would give it a try. Brian the innkeeper was so eager to please. He was very informative of the area and made us feel right at home. The home is situated away from the airport which is a plus as you dont hear the planes or traffic. It is within... More

We stayed here for one night because of an early flight out of Vancouver. As so often with Bed and Breakfast places the inn keepers are waiting on the guests hand and feet and Brian was no different. That little extra personal touch that I so often miss in a hotel was definitely there. We were in the royal suite.... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Stone Hedge for one night. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived! Brian happily gave us directions to the nearest park and ride and instructions about how to take the train into downtown (something we wanted to do). He even helped us work out our schedule for the next morning to ensure... More

First of all, Brian made it easy by picking me up from the airport. I was greeted with a smile and handed a cold drink of bottled spring water. The rooms were so clean and cozy with beautiful decor. I felt safe, comfortable and at home. I didn't want to leave! ! On departure i was gifted a jar of... More

??flower petals in the toilet bowl? Hmm.. weird. For anyone with perfume allergies - they have incense in the cottage and I could not stop sneezing. It was hard to breathe in the cottage as the air flow is poor at best even after turning on the air purifier unit. Maybe a room in the house would have been better.... More

This cozy B&B has only 3 rooms. They aren't cheap but well worth the price. I stayed in the Safari Lodge which is lovingly decorated in memory of Brians father who lived in Africa for many years. It was my first night in Canada, I came in from Germany. Brian went out of his way to help me over the... More
