This is a very good hotel. The room was magnificent, a staircase led to the upstairs to a bedroom. It has a very nice restaurant, and the room was clean, and customer service was great. It is located near the Vancouver Intl Airport. more

I stayed at the Sandman Hotels and Suites November 16, 2007. I had a 7:00am to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the next morning. It is super close to YVR and there is a free shuttle to YVR in the morning. Of course I tipped the driver though. I got to the hotel, and they were almost at capacity, so we got... more

I stayed here in September and it was a decent airport hotel. Nothing that stood out as great or bad. When I got home from my trip I notice I was charged twice for the room. I called the hotel and was informed I had booked two rooms. I had booked online and was sent email confirmation, I checked and... more

Hotel staff honored price I found on expedia and hotel.com when called the front desk. On arrival, informed us that they has updgraded us to a queen suite but we declined as we were two girlfriends travelling together and wanted the two double beds and not a queen and a pull out. Room was clean. Bathroom light flickered frighteningly when... more

Well, we thought the loft would be a good idea....we would have the loft and our teenager would have the pullout - space for everyone - BIG MISTAKE. Lets start with the pullout - once opened - it was 4 inches from the wall! You had to crawl over it to get to the kitchen and the bathroom. Then there... more

Classic bait and switch operation by Sandman Hotels! We were quoted eighty-nine dollars a night over the phone by them. When we checked out, the price was one hundred-fifty-nine! Never will we stay in a Sandman hotel again. The place was mediocre at best. Their so called kitchenette is a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. We were expecting a stove with... more

Thank you for sharing your comments. I have reviewed the rates that you have mentioned. Unfortunately we do not offer any discount rates as low as eighty-nine dollars in the Summer months however we do have great advance booking promotions in the winter. Please take a look at our website for special offers at www.sandmanhotels.com. Thank you for staying with...

We recently changed to the Sandman Hotels for all our business stays and they have been great. I stayed there twice in one week on a trip to Toronto in early march, the first stay took forever to get booked in as half the people from the airport shuttle got off there and there was only one clerk on. The... more

The hotel's clerks were awesome with a friendly smile every time! it was great to see a friendly face when coming in from the winter, The housekeepers were absolutely amazing at what they did as the rooms have always been perfectly clean and well maintained which is a very warm welcome every time we arrived back at our room However... more

We had quite an interesting experience at the Sandman. We checked in, and the staff was quite friendly. That's where the pleasant part ends and the laughably bad part begins. Although the hotel was far from full, they gave us the room directly next to/behind the elevator. This was not good for several reasons. First, we heard the elevator all... more

I have been staying here for years. For the price, the value is great. The staff is excellent and the Moxies rest/Bar is a good lace to unwind. I have stayed in much fancier surroundings, but for a place to lay your hat after a long day, the value is great. more
