The rooms are fairly nice, with recent finishes and furnishings. The beds aren't nice though (old style motel comforters and blankets). Moxies is expensive for breakfast but really good. Wifi worked well. 7/10

I had an overnight stay here with my wife and two children, prior to an early morning flight. We stayed in one of the loft style rooms. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and very quiet. We had stayed her a few years earlier and I've got to say the renovations look great! The shuttle driver was very helpful loading... More

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this Sandman at the end of our trip to Vancouver and Whistler. It was reasonably close to Vancouver Airport and worked out well for our early morning flight. The rooms were clean and basic and the hotel is generally newish. Would probably stay here again when flying from YVR if the savings were... More

Stayed here again in a loft suite on my our of YVR. I have previously stayed in a loft suite and thought it was great then - but wow!!!! The new loft rooms have been totally renovated top to bottom. I only stayed one night - so I didn't use the kitchen, but they it now has a stove which... More

We booked this hotel last minute due to a miscommunication with a different hotel company. I loved that there was a park and fly combo you could purchase, we stayed 2 nights so we got a discount on our room. I would stay here again, if I am ever flying out of Vancouver and need to park my car. The... More

The room was small but good. Even though I was next to the elevator, it was very quiet. I ate dinner at 1:45 AM and have to commend the hotel bartender and waitress for their friendliness, attentive service and the cook for the excellent hamburger. The only horrific negative was the shuttle service from the airport. Nobody said that it... More

Although the bed was clean enough and staff were friendly, the rooms are a strange, elongated shape, very narrow to move through, and my window, which could open, faced the roof vents and HVAC; would have been child's play to break in through that window from the roof. Not even a window screen. The fitness room smelled like my deceased... More

Arriving with a large tour bus and trailer, I was disappointed to find that the driveway approaching the hotel was twisty and hard to negotiate. After checking in I could not get out of the parking lot because of an illegally parked car. It was suspected that the owner of the car was an employee of the attached Moxie's restaurant.... More

Good place to stay if you are travelling as they have a shuttle to the airport and free parking while you are gone. City is loud outside, we live in the country so are not used to this. Would stay again as the ease of the shuttle and free parking are a perk.

Room was dated and worn out. Desk chair was disgusting. Bathroom didn't have a fan. Felt like I was in an old motel from a (low budget) scary movie. 1 hour wait to check in. Shuttle was 30 minute late, so we missed our flight. Would never stay here again, even for free. Not actually close to the airport. Shuttle... More
