What a fabulous place! This must be one of the best B&B in NZ (if not the best)! Thank you so much Judy for making our stay so wonderful! We will definitely come back to you and Stanley next time we visit Auckland. LinuS & Stina More

Having travelled for over 30 hours and only managing 4 hours sleep in the preceeding 48 it would have had to have been quite an an environment to enjoy thoughts of romance. My wonderful lady Anita had gone to great lengths to find the most perfect retreat as a precursor to meeting her family for the first time and get... More

Born in Auckland but living in the UK, I wanted to find somewhere to totally relax, impress and create a romantic setting for the man I love who was travelling 13,000 miles to be with me and experience a real taste of Kiwi romance and beauty. This place far surpassed BOTH of our expectations!!! Judith was funny, warm and fabulous... More

If you want to dive into Victorian time yet not miss modern comfort, this is just the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the perfect location for visiting the city together with the warmest hospitality and loved Judith's "plentyfull" breakfast. More

Highly recommended experience! clean rooms with beautiful decor, great location and the breakfast is amazing . Judith is a wonderful host .Even though this place is obviously on the higher price scale..with the standard of the room, complimentary port and sherry and amazing breakfast it seemed worth it. You can look at wotif.com for special deals. More

I stayed recently at the Peace and Plenty Inn in Devonport. The setting is perfect - only a few metres from the shops and a few hundred metres from the ferry to the city (10 minute trip). The rooms are gorgeous and the Garden room worked well for a family of four. Judith was very helpful and cooked fantastic breakfasts... More

We recently stayed at Peace and Plenty and what a wonderful end to our travels around the North Island for the Rugby World Cup! As mentioned previously, the welcome was very warm by Judy and particularly Stanley, suprisingly he barked the first time we arrived but not once after that! The rooms are lovely and each one is individually decorated... More

We spent 5 great days here during the world cup. Location ideal, town centre, close to ferry and easy access to everything. Room very good, welcome fantastic. Breakfasts really good. Lots of great tips about where to go to get the best out of our time. And of course Ireland beating Australia at Eden park was the icing on the... More

The Peace and Plenty Inn is an enchanting BB, tastily furnished with Victorian style forniture and many objects (pottery, hats...) collected by the owner. The room was warm and cosy and the breakfast featured a wide choice of products. Judy, our host, was charming and always helpful, giving us a lot of useful information about what to do and what...
