Went there late on a Sunday, menu is more expensive than the what out says on their website. One guy run off his feet. Ordered nut roast. Yorkshire looked burnt and when I went to eat it I realised it was stone cold and the center as good as still frozen. Roast potatoes looked like they'd been deep fat fried... More

Went as a group of 6 to the Bull, Had the full 3 course, fantastic food, good service, easy parking. £15 a head including drinks having received a 50% off voucher. Had a lovely log fire to keep us all warm.

Stayed here last night with my partner. Its a lovely quaint country pub and the accommodation we stayed in was around the back in a separate annex. The room was large and had everything we needed, it was warm (a freezing day yesterday!) the bed was huge and very comfortable with good quality sheets and bedding, the bathroom was clean... More

I only experienced the bar area and that was for lunch, but the staff were very polite and pleased to help. They brought the food promptly and asked how everything was after we had started, so did all the things you expect from a well-run pub. I had hake in a tempura batter and it was excellent. My friends also... More

If you are looking for a pleasant country pub with good food, good beer, log fires, pleasant staff and good rooms then you have found it! We stopped for a night after a concert in Brighton and had a lunch and breakfast. The whole experience was excellent. Go ahead and book you will not be disappointed

Best pub food ever had, I was served a CAJUN chicken burger highly recommended to try. Affordable, cheap, clean accommodation. Friendly helpful staff. Free WiFi in the pub. LCD tv with freeview. Thanks from Nick

Yes, the room was very small and part of an annexe, but we were only staying the one night, so it was not a problem. It was adequately furnished and came with tea/coffee making facilities. The biggest advantage was that it was not expensive. Breakfast, which is in the Inn, was very nice (costs £8 per person extra).

Stayed for 1 night whilst travelling for my wedding anniversary weekend. Food was nice but £10 for a burger I thought was excessive. The staff were very nice and extremely friendly, the service received was very good. My only gripe was the room was a bit small and the cleanliness was not up to much, there was drink splashes up... Why do I always have to be embarrassed when I recommend a local Inn to my American friends and relatives? The room was fine. The bed looked comfortable BUT the bathroom wall would take 10 minutes to paint and the dresser and bedside tables I would apologise to the recipients if I Freecycled them! I'm not kidding.....old pine but not... More

I stayed for one night on business in the area. Reception was in the bar and was pleasant enough . Room was spacious if a little tired . I stayed on a night when we had a lot of thunder and lightening so slept badly , the bed was however comfortable. Dinner served in the bar and OK for pub... More
