I can't express into words how this place fulfilled my Spanish country side dreams. This place will take you back in time... It is the most nostalgic feeling I got on my trip throughout Spain. Quiet, rustic, warm, inviting, and the host was so friendly and cute. She and her family have a small family run restaurant down the street.... More

El Meson is centrally located in the wine district of Rioja within short driving distances to bodegas and other charming villages. It is a quaint little bed and breakfast just on the outskirts and in walking distance from the charming little village of Briones that sits above it with wonderful views. Wonderful walking trails surround it. The rooms are a... More

In addition to the things to do in Briones itself (Dinastía Vivanco wine museum and bodega, Bodega Miguel Merino) it served as an excellent location for our group since it it wonderfully centrally located in La Rioja. Every day we could reach our bodegas of the day as well as fine restaurants in 15 or 20 minutes at most. The... More

To stay here you really need a car. The hotel is quite good, the rooms are clean and a good size, but for a woman there are one or two things lacking, no mirror in the bedroom, not enough wardrobe space. A car is a must as the nearest restaurant is a fair walk uphill. Breakfast could have been better,... More

If you're doing car tourism of the La Rioja area, and are looking for a basic place to stay, this is perfect. This is a converted wine warehouse that has really charming, if small, rooms, and some public areas for guests as well. The rooms have antique-looking furniture. It's at the bottom of a sleepy wine village, and the Dynastia... More

Clean charming rooms. Great views. Great price. And the best part is the awesome food served in their restaurant (which used to be an old wine cellar). Very enjoyable stay in the cute town..and very cute hotel.

This former wine warehouse now converted into a charming bed and breakfast was a delightful place to stay. Each large room has a different theme and is furnished with wonderful antiques that have been refinished by the owner. There is a cozy salon for relaxing, a computer room with a computer available for use, and an attractive dining room for... More
